Jeff is an incredible instructor. His course, and dialog are superb. Jeff never stumbles, or says 'um', or any other word that makes you think that he is anything other than a complete AE expert. He takes you from the raw beginning to the finished end. Teaching you all of the AE options, abilities, and keyboard shortcuts. If you are a beginner, I cannot recommend this course enough. As an addition, Jeff has a wonderful voice to listen to. There are no mistakes, no idioms, just a very knowledgeable instructor helping you to understand all of the features of AE.

I have tried to "figure out" After Effects on a few occasions and was completely lost. This course covers a lot (you will go back to refresh your memory), but I now feel I have a solid grasp on the features and work flow to build on as I continue to learn more about this program.

This is it!!! I took a couple of AE courses and this is by far the best and I'm pretty sure it is one of the best of all AE courses!!! If you are looking for a comprehensive course on AE, especially for the beginner, look no further. Everything is extremely well explained, not just how to do things but also what happens if you don't do things you're suppose to do. I was only 30% through the course when I wrote this review but I am confident that the rest of the course will be just as excellent. Will definitely look for his other courses as well.

The instructor's voice is clear and calm. I have learned several very useful points already and export to learn more throughout the tutorial. I have purchased and seen several presentations on After Effects from Udemy and this one is the best so far.

I'm truly impressed. Two suggestions to strongly consider though! Keep us abreast with new "chapters" on new features introduced by Adobe. Also, there's a lot of really cool and useful 3rd party plug-ins out there. Please cover them.

Until I began this course, I had no experience with After Effects but I think I learned quite a lot about the software. For most of the lessons, I tried to re-create what the presenter did. Now I have a good grasp of the functionality and was able to produce my own animation to my satisfaction. Perhaps sound did not get much treatment, but I cannot think of any other possible deficiency in coverage.

This is great for when you have never used After effects before. It gives you a good look at what it can do and see if you can get good use out of it while you are still in the free trial.

Very good comprehensive overview of Ae. I took it in conjunction with the Adobe Class Room In a Book and found the combination to be beneficial in reinforcing my retention. The best part of the Infinite Skills tutorials is the ability to watch a procedure as it is being taught. You may not pick that up in a book format, but to actually see it being done and have the ability to go back and re watch is fantastic.

I really liked this course. The tutorials are delivered in a clear easy to follow manner and with a touch of humour. The instructor Jeff not only explains how the application works but goes deeper into what many of the settings do, keyboard short cuts, and tips on better ways to work. After completing this course I feel like I have a very strong understanding of After Effects and my work has improved greatly. Always having access the tutorials online is great after you have finished the course as I've review chapters several times to get a refresher before I try a new technique. I would highly recommend this course if you are just starting in After Effects or want to kick you knowledge of the application up a notch.
