Some areas are a little more difficult to understand but it appears that he may go in depth more as we get further into the class. Many of the things are similar to what I use in photoshop, it is just a different way of doing it.

This is a very thorough overview of After Effects. It is well designed and starts at the very beginning so you learn it correctly. No more jumping around from topic to topic trying to figure it out, it is here all laid out in the correct format and order.

Updated: June 17, 2017 I have just completed the AECC training course from this company. I am extremely pleased with the knowledge that I have gained from this course. It does miss some in-depth topics. Though I understand that with the forever changing Adobe CC that is to be expected. I would recommend this course to anyone need a full overview. Be Patient and really spend time practicing what is being taught. At this point, I am 1/2 way thru the training course. I am beyond pleased with the things I have learned. I like the pace of the instructor. I really appreciate the repetition as I can get a lot of practice going over the tools and various shortcuts. I am an Adobe CC subscriber, therefore, there are some things that have changed since this lesson was made. Even though the instructor has attempted to adjust accordingly. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to learn at their own pace.

Enjoy this class very much. Teacher gives a lot of information in a very short period of time. Not wasting my time. Lessons are not boring Great class for learning the fundamentals, multiple ways of doing things, and I like this cause not getting into a very large and complex project. It is a good class for learning what you were just taught and then take those ideas and create your own projects using the new information that was just taught.

Great course! After struggling with YouTube tutorials that were specific to the techniques I wanted to use but too advanced for me to follow, this course is exactly what I needed. Tutor is extremely knowledgeable and the pace of work is manageable to keep up with.

He should have instructed us how to reload footage files. when we save the .zip files they are not in the same position as they were when making the project so you have to remap everything.

I have been doing tutorials for After Effects on YouTube for a while now which are mostly very well done but I find many times they flash through a tutorial pretty fast and basic concepts are glanced over because they assume you are very experienced using the program , not so much in my case although I do try my best . I wanted to take a good intro course to learn all the basic concepts better and then go back to all the on-line tutorials so that I can keep up and learn more . I could not have picked a better course than this one offered by udemy and taught by Jeff Penstock . Well laid out and taught by a true professional . Thank-you very much for all your help .
