I find the instructor and the instructions very informative and easy to follow and comprehend. Unfortunately this is out of date with Photoshop 2021 and the materials panel change...... but a majority is applicable.
This course did a great job of walking me through the basics of the photoshop 3D features. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to take their photoshop skills further.
This course was developed 7 yars ago. Many things have changed in Photoshop 3D over that time. The most notable changes are linked to MATERIALS parameters which is making key sections of the course obsolete. Another tricky thing is that add content from Adobe does not work anymore with version 2021 of Adobe Ph. Examples used in the course are ponctual and boring. Any remake should also encompass an overall interesting project. The course comes with English subtitles. I never saw such scrap subtitles. It is a shame. It is also showing that the author is not involved in reviewing them, he would be embarassed. If someone is depht and count on English subtitles to follow the course : Just forget it. It is garbage !
So far so good! I've been following along with a project I'm doing for work. The classes have been really helping me go through the steps to better understand my own project and the 3D capabilities in Photoshop.
I'm disappointed because the course introduction made me believe I would have learned stuff which I didn't
To the creator of this tutorial, It is obvious you know a great deal about the subject. Also, course organization and delivery are well thought out. In my opinion, however, you haven't really created a 'tutorial' as much as a series of lectures. I would encourage you to examine how other instructors are able to create assignments and coach a viewer through completing projects, rather than just talking through a topic. Ben Tristen has done quite a few related to gaming engines, which may serve as example. Other than this, I thought your topics were a reasonable length and encompassed enough to give a good overview.
The quality of the audio is very poor. His voice is not clear, not easy to understand and follow through. The content is good though.
The instructor was very good at explaining the topics and I enjoyed the course. I learned enough to want to try one more . I don't think there are enough options with Photoshop 3D yet to be able to do the project I have in mind, but after I finish the next course I may feel differently.
Informative and easy to follow but not matching my version of Photoshop - much has changed since CS5 extended which is what I have. So far so good though.
This course will give you the knowledge and confidence to create in 3D. My end game is to produce 3d renderings of illuminated signage and would have like to have seen more on how to make individual sections of the design appear to be glowing. But, overall, it still deserves a 5-star rating.
Interface different, some function only work in Old version CS6. Cannot perform ‘Internal Constraints’ in newest versions. Instructor not responsive here. Videos always pausing, slow… loading. Long-winded lecture explained a simple thing, made lessons boring, I almost fall asleep.
Presenter does a very good job, only problem is that the Photoshop interface in this tutorial is not current. Takes the learner some searching to find the tools being introduced—they are not obvious to someone new to the 3D environment.
This is a great course it give you a depth knowledge stage by stage on how to create images into 3d shapes. There are also endless possibilities in 3d course which i have picked up and now bit more skillful in this area.
Instructor is using older version of Photoshop. My version (latest CC) behaves differently, in particular with regard to how the view changes when certain actions are performed. I am constantly having to make changes to the view without guidance in order to have to make what I see match the video. Names of some of the tools have changed as well as their functionality. Also I believe that the sample files may have been changed since the video was made.
This covers absolutely everything you need to know to get you started, and also covers some advance topics. It is amazing what can be achieved purely in Photoshop. Well worth taking your time with this course and taking it all in.
