Course was good for new users as it covers the complete overview of VS Code but it lags the hidden features and advance usage of VS Code that enhance the productivity.
Instructor is browsing through options and just telling what they do. There isn't anything in the course which you cant learn by yourself after looking at the user interface. I would recommend everyone to just install Visual Studio Code and try for it half an hour. It will give you better understanding of the tool than this tutorial.
am becoming as Associate Cloud Engineer so in the previous to push am asking my friend to help me now i get certified knowlege
The guide has stuff I can learn just by using the editor and reading the documentation. If your one that prefers watching videos to reading, this is the course for you.
I think this course is waste of time to pick. Because the instructor is a totally awfull. He is just saying what's on the tab. Nothing much want I wanted to know
actually i was expected on how to use the the VS code to program using python , C# and how to do the setup , call the class library , show extra tips how to efficiently program a quality code , and expose some tips most best feature in VS code feature vs other IDE's , this class are more on intro to the feature in VS code i think is a waste of time
The instructor seems not knowledgeable at all, at times it feels like he's discovering the features as he speaks (see 'Basic Editing'). At other times he tries something, it doesn't work and he says something like it would work if... (see debugging). I can't recommend this at all.
A nice introductory course, I have been using Visual Studio Code for a long. But the content of course has provided me a lot knowledge.
This was a great course on Visual Studio Code. It went through the interface and how to use the software. It went through details of the extensions that can be used with it. Explanations had good details.
The code is a shallow introduction to Visual Studio Code, mostly resourcing to the system's own documentation. The videos seemed to have very little preparation. If the title was just 'Introducing Visual Studio Code', it would deserve a 4, but yet, the entire course could be improved.
yea i was looking forward to learn from basics of visual studio code till know i am getting understand hope rest of the tutorial would also be like this....
It is very nice and very informative course with a very short videos and direct to the point without waffle! I strongly recommended for everyone!
5-star review: Not bad, for basic to almost intermediate usage and configuration of te application. If you are new to programming and Computer Science, and you have decided to take VS Code as your preferred tool, take this course. 4-star review: I changed my 5 to 4, because he was defetead in the small tutorial that appears after the first install of VS Code, like really!. 3-star review: I give him 3, because of effort, and nothing more, he just read the settings to you, if you are into audiobooks then this will be great for you, go and read VS Code documentation instead. 2-star review: he lied, this is no fun at all. If this goes to worse, will change it to one.
This is just the Basic Level. I was expecting much more like How to Debug, Create environment with Workspace, add conditional Breakpoints etc.
Yeah, Honestly the course to learn to this visual studio code was really helpful to me, and i learnt too much to what i was expecting, i like to use visual studio code as my platform to learn all my different programming works, so i didn't know that it really has those lot and lot of features built-in it. It as so great and i even started to use them as well, cause it's gonna save more time to my works. And i prefer to learn many other helpful courses with Udemy. Thank you!
