If you are looking for an edge in trading, this course will be a big disappointment. A lot of what is covered in these video are available for free on the internet (text and video). The instructor basically describes what the candles are doing (e.g., close below open) which is useless and something that any non trader could describe. No commentary on how to enter or exit (stop loss / take profit) which would have been more helpful) as it incorporate risk (the most important aspect of day trading). Some of the videos should have been omitted. For example, video 9 ("Long Day Candles") was useless and wont help your diagnostics skills or how to enter a trade.

This course proved to be an excellent review of major candlestick patterns. If attendees are unfamiliar with candlesticks or would like more information re candlesticks while taking the course, Steve Nison's book, Japanese Candlestick Charting Techniques, will prove to be an invaluable resource. (BTW, Nison brought the concept of candlesticks to the western traders.)

This course provided a good overview of candlesticks. Most of the course was easy to follow but there were some concepts that were more complicated. I would have liked to have seen more application to actual trading.

Loved every bit of it. Very engaging, thorough, no-nonsense, polite instructor. The course is well structured, focuses on almost all the important candlestick patterns. The only thing missing was if there was some case studies or live examples of these patterns, that would have really nailed it. But even without them, the fact that it has been so clearly communicated does the trick. Some assignments can be added for future practices. Overall it was a great learning experience and I am follower of the tutor from here on.

Very practical class straight to the point. I would improve the presentation of the topics by also including comments and examples on confirmation signals/patterns. It's OK to be able to identify reversal patterns, but most of the times reversal patterns need a confirmation, and this part was not adequately covered in the course.
