Learn to Edit Video Like a Pro in Vegas Creative Software

The course bring you through most of the fundamental to using the Vegas software. you will need to do allot of practice on your own an the additional lessons are a bit disjointed, however over all, it is a good course.

It is very good with great info to work with. I learn some things that I did not pay attention to in the past.

Purchase Vegas Pro to extract highlight clips from my daughter's softball games. Looking to create end of season montages with some special effects added. I've figured out how to extract clips but have probably not been doing it in the most efficient manner. Looking for tips, tricks and techniques to do it more quickly.

I've been running a YouTube Channel using Movie Studio 17 Platinum as my main video editor of choice. I've never taken a course in Movie Studio but I have worked with it a fair bit. *EDIT* I learned a value lesson about the Crop/Pan tool so I think I'm getting to the point in the class where I'm starting to get some useful lessons.

The information through step 8 is easy if you are already familiar with aspect ratios and have some knowledge of how film and video editing was performed.

It's extremely basic, too much time on obvious items. This instructor produces excellent YouTube videos, and this seems to be just a collection of those YouTube videos that are free. I hope he digs MUCH deeper!

This course is great! He actually teaches you how to edit well from a craft perspective, not just a software tutorial. Do the actual projects. I'm learning so much, highly recommended!

Clear explanations. Frequent quizzes to ensure we're keeping up with the terminology & concepts. Instructor speaks in a pleasant voice, presents concepts in a manner that is conducive to learning in this casual environment. I'm enjoying the class very much.

(Updated) Thorough course for learning the basics of Vegas Movie Studio. I already had some experience with Movie Studio prior to taking the course, but I knew there were basic things about the program that I probably hadn't figured out on my own. The instructor, Adam, communicates clearly and errs on the side of giving you more basic info than you might need, and that was good for me. As I was hoping, I learned some new things I could do with the software as well as easier ways to do some of the things I was already doing. Plus, Adam explains some basic film-editing concepts, such as how to balance the audio and how to make transitions feel more natural. Overall, this was time and money well-spent. Looking forward to the intermediate course!

A little bit too fast in the beginning, we'll see for the rest. Wish there was option for 1080p video quality, 720p is a little blurry

This course goes into so much more depth than anything else I could find on Udemy for Vegas. It's also the most up-to-date and really shows you how to use the software from knowing nothing!

Except for the question about file extensions, good course. Details" I beive the question was 'what is the extension for movie studio & VEGAS Pro?' .vf & .veg were separate choices. Should have been separate questions because VEGAS pr extension is .veg. Studio is .vf. Can't wait for yu next course.
