Learn How to Draw and Paint in Photoshop

Excellent course. Straight to the point, the teacher selects the most useful features of Photoshop for kicking off your experience in digital painting. Congratulations for a great course!

As a beginner learner digital art has always fascinated & intrigued me plus helping me learn more about using the Wacom tablet which I have already put to use. I want to see if I have a spark learning the concept of digital painting.

No depth in the course. I know no more about photo shop then I did prior to this. It was pretty much a watch her draw and fill vector shapes. Oh to be fair she dig do a little brush work on the bird (very little) you will learn little about using photoshop as a tool for your art.

I’m just learning a lot of different brush techniques and how to make a painting look great photoshop and it’s easy to just stop and redo. Wonderful tips that will stay with you

This course is a great primer for anyone wanting or needing to orient themselves with using Photoshop for painting and drawing (or any other digital art software, as the techniques translate to other programs). If you've not used Ps before, or haven't tried it for drawing and painting, this is the perfect place to start. Clearly explained, no guff - just short, sweet and informative bitesized learning. Siobhan's manner, style and personality make it a pleasure to learn from her as someone who has real-world experience and knows what she's doing (and how to explain it). So much so, I've bought several of her other courses too.

I've been working with Photoshop for years and while I knew all the tools covered, Siobhan streamlined how they can be used in an efficient drawing practice. Her methods are practical, straight-forward, and easy to understand when practiced for only a few days in a row. This class has given me the foundation I was looking for to go confidently into more advanced Photoshop drawing courses in Udemy. And I appreciate Siobhan's down to earth examples of being creative and using layering to quickly change how a drawing is coming together.

I had never done digital art before, and this was a great introduction with a lot of helpful tips to get started. I found the comments on efficient workflow to be especially helpful. Overall really helpful!

Out of three courses I tried, this one doesn't offer as much, but it is good if you just want to take a really fast course with a few ideas to offer. I recommend the Digital Painting Mega Course and Procreate Solid Foundations if you want something more in depth. If you know basics about photoshop and layers, the procreate course ideas will still apply to photoshop.

This is good for intro beginners and hobbiests to get some good rounded tips and tricks of the trade.

It was good and interesting but there were some parts that were only briefly explained which led me to confusion. Some parts might have been explained a bit slower and deeper. Sometimes I didn't even know which tool was used and how. I had to google a lot of things and watch some good free tutorial on yt about the pen tool because is was only briefly presented here. I guess 1,5h course is too short on this topic.

This was great! I liked the framework it provided on using Photoshop or other similar digital painting tools. The pacing was perfect.

A repeating issue I found in all Adobe training. Instructions seems to direct off of "Recent". I'm starting brand new, and don't have a recent history. I could not find some of the features because instructor is working off her history or recent - in Photoshop. Example, I had to dig around looking for "A4".

Enjoyed the course very much. Good beginning for me starting to draw in photoshop and using my Wacom Cintiq.

ENG. I really liked this course, it helped me a lot to get into Photoshop that was something very scary for me and Im happy that now I can say that Im comfortable using Ps with the many tecniches that I learned here. ESP. El curso me gustó mucho y me ayudó bastante a acostumbrarme a Photoshop y poder usarlo como para mi arte hoy en día y con todas las técnicas que la profe enseñó en el curso.
