This is a nice introduction to the Monaca Service, APIs and such. It may fit the need of future app and current app development.

Great course and certainly delivered on its promise. Nice and simple. I would love to see more classes of this style, but incorperate new elements like Cordova Plugins, other JS Frameworks, and Theme building. I few things I wanted to point out was; 1. the change in the pacing towards the end of the course. In the start, he explained in detail why he was putting certain pieces of code in and that gave time to be able to follow along. Later, entire blocks of code are completed in a cut. He explains some pieces but not all. 2. There are a few outdated elements in his code that should be updated in the videos. For example, <ons-input type="checkbox"> has been depreciated and is now <ons-checkbox>. Also script tags with id attributes are now stripped of the id, making the code fail when trying to access the item template. 3. Monaca has changed their structure now and they do not allow the free tier accounts to use Monaca CLI.

Bryan takes the course slow and steady for people to understand clearly. As beginners it may be daunting to have to understand a lot of new concepts and the many different pre-requisites (eg. onsen, monaca, cordova etc) but he explains it well. Although slight improvement would be for clearer view for the slides and the script sometimes are off.

The whole course relates to provide knowledge about Monaca services and how you can use those service to create Cordova app. There is no information on how to setup cordova locally and compile them to Android / iOS app using either android / iOS SDK... Even then its a great introduction to Cordova application.

Unenthusiastic speaker who blocks part of the screen. I need to interact with something. The code needs to be updated because there are a few pieces that do not work. I needed to browse the forums to make modifications to the code posted on Github.

I started the course as I was interested in learning Onsen UI. I found the udemy link from Onsen website. First, I thought, it is just a Monaca advertisement and will not learn much about Onsen UI. I was pleasantly surprised how good and easy it is to quickly develop using Monaca. This will definitely help me learn more of Onsen UI elsewhere. I liked the way the instructor slowly walked us through the example. How Bryan did not start with tested code but walked us through the entire process including troubleshooting which is so important in real world. Eager to see more courses from Bryan.

My overall experience was nice, but I really did feel that the instructor was unable to explain all the concepts in detail. Also,though I followed the entire course step-wise,I wasn't able to make the to-do application due to some unknown bug or error at the end which couldn't be resolved.

Very nice tools for creating an app. Did not go into the actual creation of the apk file though. I guess that is not what they are selling. However I think it's a good platform, so far...

Great tutorial! Great for beginners. I wish I had it when I was first starting with Onsen and Monaca. Liked that you've shown the creating of an actual app, which shows more than the basic features. Just one issue: I didn't find the source code. It will be good to have it for download.
