The speaker could go into slightly more detail, also the examples of how to light were poor. I expected him to breakdown lighting set ups a bit more.

I loved how he explained slowly and simply and showed examples. I've watched other lighting videos and this one was the most helpful. Thank you!

The information was solid and useful. Lots of thought has been put into how to illustrate the theory. This course is a good entree into the principles of lighting. Only complaint is that occasionally jargon is used without explanation: "blonde', "diff", "gobo", "day for night", but Google will help.

I would have really liked some more on-screen graphics and some tighter editing in general. I do know the basics of lighting now, but the majority of that came from the diagram in section 2.

It was a good course for beginners -which I am. It kept the information simple, understandable, and made the important component of lighting not quite so intimidating. I highly recommend it!
