Client Script Overview

SuiteScript allows developers and administrators to create flexible business logic within NetSuite tailored to specific business need from sophisticated business processes to entirely new applications.​

• Client scripts are SuiteScripts executed in the browser. They can run on most standard records, custom record types, and custom NetSuite pages.​

  
  

• Generally, client scripts are used to validate user-entered data and to auto-populate fields or sublists at various form events.

Form-level and Record-level Client Scripts 2.0​

• Form-based client scripts run against specific fields and forms. Record-level client scripts.​​

• Record-level client scripts can also be used on forms and lists that have been generated through UI Objects during Suite lets development.​

How Many Client Events Can I Execute on One Form?​
