Another course from the same instructor with repeteaded information on courses made by him. A lot of videos in the sections are exactly the same to other courses, for example: "Design and Implement a Data Warehouse: | SSIS | SSAS | SSRS" or "implementing-a-data-warehouse-with-microsoft-sql-server". Beware of this and take a very good look at the content of all the courses courses (and others from the same instructor about similar themes) before buying or you will feel that bought the same thing several times. Feels like been scammed.

He skipped a whole part. At the end of number 19 of Section 2, he said he was going to break it up and finish creating the Data Key Lookup in the next part. However, that never happened. The next part started with the Data Key Lookup already created. I tried to recreate it myself, but it errored. Therefore, I was unable to follow along in my own code for the remainder of the section.

I didn't really find this, particularly useful. Unfortunately, the instructor didn't do a very good job of scripting a learning plan. Lots of apologies, missteps etc.. The pace was okay.. The nice part is; you can speed up the recording at as required to increase the speed. The tone and cadence were okay. I just felt it was lacking content.

If the instructor could show us more examples and explain more about the source/destination/or even connector, I think the courses will be more useful.

Very slow... It's taking forever to get to the meat of the title SSIS... so far nothing has been done... to hell with flat files, what about ETL of Sql Data?

Although this was a rather basic introduction to SSIS--perhaps what is needed by those who have absolutely no idea what SSIS even stands for--it was a decent course. The instructor seemed to know what he was talking about although there are mistakes he makes in the videos that he goes back and corrects during the video. I feel that this could have been mostly avoided by practicing beforehand. That alone isn't that big of a deal though. I felt the course videos were a bit slow and, as I've stated before, very basic. For the absolute beginner that knows almost nothing about SSIS, then this course is good to pick up. If you want any sort of challenge, then you'll need to pick up a different course. I appreciate the instructor's ability to get concepts across rather well, though. It's easy to follow, especially if you like or otherwise don't mind slow pacing. The real-world examples are a nice addition to what is otherwise a fairly basic course.

I like the brief sections; however, there seem to be a bit of mistaken actions to get to the correct tools. Neverthless, it good experience to work through the Tools environment. I also think that my Visual Studio and SQL Tools are a different version than viewed in this course, but it still is learnable.
