Very Difficult to follow. Talking too fast, and not allowing step by step demonstration and practice.

Good walk through the steps. It would be nice if we can see keys that the instructor is pressing or how we can go around without pressing hotkeys as the new blender version has different shortcuts.

This course covers a lot of material very quickly, It's great for somebody familiar with the concepts and wanting to learn how to apply them in Blender. It's not a step-by-step introduction, so perhaps not as suitable for somebody new to the field.

Came back to this course after leaving it at 46% completed, rewatching it from the beginning and I feel like leaving a review, for now I'll leave here my first impression. So, I finished the first section and I already feel comfortable with blender which is great, altough there's still a lot to learn, of course. The instructor is very good, he speaks cleary and confident. I'm enjoying the course at this point, great job. I'll re-review after finishing the course.

I will be watching this again when I know more about the basics, and it introduces you well to some complex issues. It just seems more like an overview (a very good overview) than a step by step tutorial. Still well worth watching, especially if you can get it in a sale. I certainly would watch more from these.

Sorry guys but this course is not good for newbie and not good for advanced... all the course seems to me just an introduction (overview) of a course... not good at all. sorry for that.

This explains exactly what you need to know, in order to model and texture in blender. I've gone through a few Blender books and tutorials in my time and this is the first one that has actually communicated exactly what I have to do, right down to the key strokes at a pace that is quick enough that it doesn't get boring, but slow enough so I don't feel like I missed anything. For a beginner class, it doesn't get much better than this tutorial. :)

Overall, it is an ok basic course but as mentioned by others it feels incomplete. The only reason I say this is because I have taken the other Blender courses on Udemy. I feel that while the content presented is good, it needs more depth and breadth. Also, it would have been helpful to have some Mac references ...i,e,,,the differences when using a Mac Pro, etc.... I found that following on the Mac was a little challenging until I figured certain things out.

An easy to follow good introduction covering the fundamentals of modeling and texturing for blender. This course touches the bare bones of blenders modeling and texturing capabilities, which are necessities everyone should know. The textures and materials made are however not of professional quality in my opinion just yet, but the basics are there and explained in detail, which is a great start for any beginner to blender.

As a non-artist who had never used Blender (or any other 3d modeling tools) previously, I found the lessons easy to follow along with and enjoyed the course overall. The first section walking step by step through the modeling of several different objects was very well done, though it felt a bit rushed once they started on the UV unwrapping section. There's certainly a ton of good stuff that can be done with Blender, and I believe this course to be a suitable starting point to get one's feet wet and learn the ropes.

I've been using blender for several years already so this didn't have anything new for me to learn in it. However, if I had had this when i had just started using blender it would have been a great help to me. Unlike the beginner's tutorial I had when i started, this one didn't give a lot of boring UI introduction before starting people into how to play with things themselves. Instead it introduces the basics little by little throughout the course. Blender is a complex program with a ton of features this covers the most basic features and options that you need to know in order to model and to get started texturing. there was an abrupt cutoff of one of the videos that caused what seemed to skip a bit that was supposed to be in the video and i do feel like certain tool/options could have been given a bit more screen time but even with that i think this is a very good starting point for a beginning blender user. By the end of the course the users who followed along will have modeled a door, a chair, and a simple rocket ship. in doing so they should have learned basic techniques and tools that they'll continue to use no matter what they go on to create themselves.
