If you just want to get your feet wet in the pool of big data then this course will suffice. If you already know the basics of big data there's nothing new here. I would have liked to see a couple of examples in action on how to actually process big data.

It was low level course, probably useful for college people or freshers. Even if it is a basic course, there is expectation that some kind of practical knowledge will be given. But this course only had presentation slides which were read throughout.

Not much focus on Big Data itself. It was more about the theory around Big Data than the actual concepts of Big Data. Barely 10mins of content that actually covered the concepts, rest was about jobs and information about what language to use. I would suggest the instructor to make the content more engaging rather than reading from the slides, and to include some basic practical sections.

The course owner must use a quiet place to record her classes. There is a lot of noise in the recording. You can hear the cars in the back. Also, the videos are just the instructor reading the slides.
