Learn AWS Data Engineering

Hay espacios que no llena como crear conectores. Asimismo la version de AWS con la que trabaja ya es muy diferente al dia de hoy.

The course touches upon the foundational aspects of AWS Glue with a brief overview of other Data Engineering related AWS services. The course has some demos but quite sadly it lacks the resource files needed to follow the instructions and fulfill all the steps yourself. It's rather good to get an overall understanding of what AWS Glue is. And it could be much better if those missing resource files were shared in some GitHub repo to make it a genuine "follow-me" tutorial.

1. Most of the details have been skipped. 2. Every resource was already created beforehand. The instructor should actually perform the operation during the demo. 3. Oversimplified use cases. No real business scenario.

good as of now, could have explain how we can navigate S3 bucket, I feel it went directly to S3 screen

What I feel about the course, its covered on a very very high level information. Most of things are created already(No info from scratch). The detail design for a data pipeline is completely missing hence ends up with lots of confusion

in the demo only 1-1 load is shown. One detailed scenario might have been helpful. There was no mention about scheduler and how to integrate with versioning tools.

This course is rather poor. Course material should cover the pre-requisites of allowing Glue to connect to VPC using S3 endpoints if relevant. If this is not required then ensure that the materials also covers this thoroughly. The requirements were rather patchy and considering that there is other material available on youtube, I was only able to follow the course material properly after seeing the youtube videos.

I was hoping I would be able to follow along and do the demos myself. I am trying to learn more about how I can utilize AWS for data engineering. I looked around but didn't see any of the files that he uploaded in his lecture. I thought I might be able to do the API call to json but then got stumped with how to create the initial json file. It would have been helpful if I had my own data to utilize, but since I was just trying to gain the knowledge on my own, the most I could do was watch the video and look at the paths inside the AWS console.

Shocked!! The entire course is 55 mins. Not what I expected at all. This is purely for someone who already knows what he is doing, and can follow along. Certainly not for anyone looking to "learn" AWS data engineering. Just 6 specific activities that don't give you any background as to why you are doing what you are doing. This is not akin to real world project situation. Not happy.. :-(
