ASP.NET Web API is a framework for building HTTP services that can be accessed from any client including browsers and mobile devices. It is an ideal platform for building RESTful applications on the .NET Framework. However it can also use to create non RESTful services.

It works more or less the same way as ASP.NET MVC web application except that it sends data as a response instead of html view.

ASP.Net web API became very popular because of it’s a very easy to implement RESTful api with less amount of time.

Why are we using Postman. Whats the use? What is the use of these HTTP functions post put delete etc. we can do all this by mvc User interface adding , editing, or deleting a value. I am a beginner , I really did not understand for what reason are we going for WebAPI and what it is doing. I have watched only upte video 4 of Section 1 FYI. Most important being an Indian myself difficult to understand authors pronunciation

the contents are not up to the mark.. poorly explained.. only the topics are good. the speaker expects you to know everything. most difficult is the way the speaker speaks. I completed the course as I bought it.. Just wanted to run away.

My main issue with the course is the lack of details on certain topics. For instance we're shown multiple ways of performing some action. Why are there multiple ways? Is one better or the standard vs others? Other than that he did do a good job of covering the topic.
