I like the ability to follow the course with step-by-step instruction on my own PC. I also appreciate the helpful tips and recommendations along the course.

me gusta mucho que sea tan didáctico a mucha gente le molestan este tipo de cuestionarios, pero a mí sí me ayuda a recordar, mi único problema es que no tengo el ordenador a la mano y estoy haciendo esto mientras trabajo en tiempos libres

Am loving the Irish accent - much easier on the ears!! And the way that the videos can be paused, rewound and restarted is great! Very easy to follow so far.

Definitely moved way too fast - even with this setup on a separate screen, I was still constantly rewinding or pausing to try to keep up and make sure I was following directions. It seems like having at least some technical knowledge would be helpful before going into this, and the amount of time I had to spend figuring out how to translate what was said to what would work on a MacBook was insane. Even barring that, looking into how to use any of the keyboard shortcuts on a laptop that doesn't have a number pad took half my morning, and it turns out I just needed to enable a simple option. Mentioning anything like that would have been enormously helpful, as well as mentioning any of the Mac options. I do understand that there are Mac options in the available download of all the shortcuts, but trying to flip through that whole thing every time anything is mentioned would be insane. I finally just started asking ChatGPT to tell me what the equivalent shortcut would be. Very fast moving, very light on the descriptions of what's actually going on, and allows no time to actually perform actions. I don't know how anyone makes it through this in anything like a reasonable amount of time. I've made it to Lecture 18 and it's taken almost ten hours.

Beyond impressed with the course so far. I bought a 3D Printer(jumped the gun) and started trying to create my own 3d models within Blender. The couple of small things I've made worked, but I started having issues as I wasn't completely understanding the tools provided to me. I'm only at Section 4 and I believe this course has paid for itself 10 times over with the knowledge I've gained.

The content is great, it goes too fast. Sometimes he says he is clicking things but it goes too fast that I can't see WHERE he clicked it. I know this is a lot of content and that's probably why it moves so quickly, but for a complete beginner such as myself I'm not sure it's for me. I am going to keep going though :-)

This course is disappointing to me as I understood it was for beginners. The pace of the course is clearly for people with some experience using blender. I am continually going back and forth in the video lectures and struggling to keep up on how fast the course goes. The constant switching between keyboard shortcuts and menu options for a newbe is tough, at least it is for me. The instructor is clearly very knowledgeable and talented, but for a person who this is the first time I have ever touched Blender, he is simply going too fast for me. There are many times where there is no explanation as to why he is using a particular setting, at least not one I am understanding. Since it is too late for a refund, I will keep at it but form my initial impression of what this course was, for beginners, it is disappointing to me. This course is for people with Blender experience and they would greatly benefit form it.

So far this is a good introduction to blender which is what I want. I am new to 3D modeling and printing.

So far the course seems very good. We haven't "made" anything yet, but we are getting familiar with some important basic functionality and the course seems "comprehensive enough" without being overwhelming.

A lot of information, but not propely told about troubleshooting when prepearing a model with defects that can cause crash in slicer. I mean Remesh and Decimate, how to proper set them. I was dissapointed and would`t recommend to buy it even with discount.

100% finished this course. Be warned, it is a very lengthy course. You will get your money's worth. Uses Blender mainly. Near the end a bonus course with Freecad. Both are open source. Nice touch: printing the objects and show how the created 3D models look like in real. The Teacher is answering questions every day. A Big bonus. The course gives you programmed questions that need to be answered. A clever way to check yourselves if you know the Blender menu options, where they are found and how to use them. 3D design objects will sometimes have a basic starting file for you to use, other times , you need to start from scratch by yourselves. For instance, creating a chess piece, he will give you the outer lines of the object, and you have to create the 3D object from it. I would like to see more downloadable items in various stages, that would make following the course a but more streamlined. The reason it can be a bit more rough, is that it depends on the user how he creates and draws the objects. If that is a bit different than the teacher, you might need to do extra work to be able to finish it as the teacher likes to see it. Blender is maybe 90% of the course time, that is no wonder, because Blender does take more time to learn. It enables you to create more organic items. Freecad was much easier to grasp. For making 3d objects that have non-organic shapes, it enables you to create it much faster. The logic (work method) of the program is also easier to understand. Why not 5 star? It is impossible to archieve. Then everything must be perfect. But this course does come very near. Hope the teacher will start a new course in Blender, create organic shapes. Models that can move, re-shaped, then printed. Think about an 3D doll, that can be remoddeled, shaped, then if you like it, export it, and print it. Blender has soo much possibilities, this course cratched the surface. There is still a lot to learn.

This course is super. The instructor is quick and it never gets boring. There is also added timelapsed videos of an 3d-printer printing the created objects. Recommend making notes during lectures, making a cheat sheet for the vast amount of key shortcuts and menus used.
