Le informazioni sono davvero base base, utili a chi si avvicina per la prima volta alla fotografia prima ancora che alla fotografia di paesaggio.
The demonstrations part was most helpful. It's helpful to hear them talk through the composition and settings at each landscape. I would've liked to have some variety in the landscapes. A desert setting would be very different from mountains or ocean/beach settings. I understand the need to show us how to edit our photos but it seemed a little over kill. I really liked having all three of them edit the same photo and talk through how they chose to edit the photo and what they would do differently.
According to me,This course is very Good for beginners and for the people who are interested in landscape photography. The instructors have explained the concepts in such a way that anyone can understand it easily no matter what level of photographer they are.
This is not my first course with phil. every time these guys are able to make videos that are clear and easy to follow
Good range of ideas and techniques in landscape demonstrations. Approach that encourages you to go away and experiment
This course was great for me as I'm a complete beginner with using the camera and also with editing and it has helped me understand a lot about the different camera functions and post editing tools for enhancing the photographs which I also wanted to learn.
Nice course, very interesting showing different perspectives from the 3 instructors. I'm missing a summary at the end of the lessons with the main key points. Though Lightroom might be the de facto standard, it would be nice to explore other editing software like Digital Photo Professional (for Canon Users), or Darktable or RawTherapee (Free and multiplatform).
Expected much more detail about the photography. kind of quite basic one for me. feel doesn't worth the money. Youtube have much more good content then this. Came here to expect much more then that.
Yes great! I'm brand new too photography but really determined to become professional. The guys are great and I have enrolled on many of there courses.
From the intro the second video is just super bad. Really you are standing at one single position in a desert and do like 20 fotos of the same subject. All with lots of negative space (>90%) and only the sky is correctly exposed. All the front elements are just black. What kind of intro is this? Shouldn't you show lot's of different places with what you can do in landscape photography? Please ask yourself: is this what makes landscape photography? Also one of the trainers is unable to pronounce correctly. I am not native English speaking and it is way to hard to understand his yelling. He even can't name some of the vocabulary correctly! There is obviously no script being used while filming! _____ 28th of January 2019 The answer to this review by the teacher is a pure attempt trying to influence the reviewer. Phil did NOT react with a single word on my specific review. Instead he is just posting his SPAM with 'with your help I can make it better and I beg you give me 5 stars!' Proof me and make it better, don't just speak of it!
Great insights for absolute beginners. Would have loved photographs from few other locations. Please bring in a version 2 to the course at some other location.
A good course covering the basics in an easy to understand way. Phil, Sam and Will are passionate about their subject without being overbearing. I particularly liked the editing section, as I have very little experience of Lightroom/Photoshop. The lesson where they all edited the same photo was very interesting, especially their respective end results.
I now have much more confidence to experiment with my camera, gear and settings. Really enjoyed the course and what I really like is the fact I can do it at my own pace as I have a life out of photography. This is just a hobby but thanks to you guys I'm even more hooked.
Really detailed explanation of things, settings and post processing workflow. Enjoying this a lot! Thank you.
I thoroughly enjoyed every minute, well done guys and i have already purchased more of your courses and look forward to getting stuck into them soon too.
