Information given is great, but lesson 6 shows 1 hr 5 min, but when I hit on lesson, there is only a link to go to ebookpublishingschool.com which requests your personal email to be able to view videos & template. Chapter 7 gives a template, but not the extension as docx, pdf, ? I purchased the course in 2018, so perhaps it is outdated?

This a good overall course on how to write a book and publish it on Amazon. There are many courses that deal with the same topic, and thus, it becomes a matter of preference then as to who you like teaching you. The tips on writing are good. It gets you organized and allows you to use a method to find a topic you are passionate and knowledgeable about, and then gets your writing. This is the hardest thing for potential writers to do and this course gives you the tools to make this happen. Where I feel this course is falling a little flat is on the Marketing part. All the course that deal with publishing a book and making it a bestseller are outdated as they have been done about 6,7, 8 years ago. Back then, using the strategies of the free book sites, twitter, and the kindle boards and reddit, have changed and getting many downloads on your free promotion days is not as easy as it used to be because of a crowded market and the change of algorithms from Amazon and other sites. Also, Tom says in his lectures that he has provided a list of twitter accounts and the free book promotion sites, but I could not find them anywhere else. Overall, this course is good for you to write a book and publish it, but in order to become a bestseller, you have to put the work in and be relentless and cannot settle on the outdated marketing material that it is taught in the marketing section of the course.

This course has helped answered some long lingering question that I held in the back of my mind. Found it somewhat inspirational perhaps due to the testimonies towards the end as per this instructors interviews with successful authors. Would have liked to see more written resources in tandem with the lectures. These lessons once archived can always be referred back too again and again. Reading the resources help pin point the majore concepts in the lectures and will help with the decision to replay specifics of a lecture one has once sat through alleviating reviewing time. Looking forward to writing nonfiction books. This was well woth my time.

1. Knowing how to position my book among the other writers is valuable info. to give my book(s) the best chance to be chosen by readers. 2. Understanding readers mind sets in my chosen genre by reading their reviews gives me insight on how the content of my book can be used to craft my book to influence them based on their likes and dislikes. This material can be used to challenge them in these areas.

A lot of important details are skipped over. Such as what is the URL for the page on Amazon that lists the best sellers? I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out but it would be nice to have that detail. Also KDP means Kindle Development Program? I Googled it and I'm pretty sure it means Kindle Direct Publishing. Instead of making stuff up it's okay to say you don't know.
