Since I launched my "Read Music FAST!" course 2 years ago people have been asking for a sequel, and I've finally had time to make one. In Part 1 I showed you how to read individual notes really fast using my unique reference note system. In this course I show you how to read notes in context, by getting really good at reading the distance between notes, and how to read and memorise the key signatures, all using lots of worked examples. I also reveal my Red/Blue System for working out major scales which I've been teaching my private students for years but have never published publicly before.

Note: this course does not teach you who to read rhythm. That's a huge subject that will require an entire course to itself!

This course is just perfect, I am so happy I found this, it is simple fast and straight to the point. I am a beginner learning piano but I played guitar for a while and had a little bit music theory background and it was just a amazing watching Benedict deconstruct everything I knew and show me a new way that is so much easier to understand and put into practice. I found the Red/Blue method more confusing than simply playing the notes with the normal interval patterns for minor keys, i.e. T,S,T,T,S,T,T I'm sure that this method will help some students, however it's not for me. I should also say though, that I found Read Music FAST part 1 very helpful.

Great course. Great teacher. Great explanation. I have subscribed to other piano courses too, but I think this is the real one that every piano student needs to go through if you really want to learn piano. The best part of the course is that Mr. Benedict taught complex concepts in a very simple and easy to use way. This course gave me the confidence to learn piano in very fast and efficient way.

Super interesting and very well explained. Benedict invented a blue/red note system which is much easier to learn the major scales than the traditional method of counting semitones and whole tones. I love this method!

After the first few lessons, I wasn't sure this course would be as helpful as Read Music FAST Part 1 (it is definitely worth 5-stars). Now that I've reached the 32nd lesson, I've gotten as much value from this course as the previous one. Once we got to the key signature section, I started realizing things about music that I had no prior knowledge of, and the way they were explained was so clear that I picked up the concepts after a single viewing. I really appreciate the instructor's knowledge and delivery. Another excellent course, and I can't wait to find out what the remaining lessons will reveal.

I went through Read Music FAST 1, Read Music FAST 2, Piano Chords. I cannot find words to express how grateful I am when I found this instructor and his courses. His methods are unique, easy to remember; the way he designs the courses makes me never feel bored. This course is amazing, and it deserves more than 5 stars. It covers all you need to know about intervals and key signatures, which sound difficult and complicated, but his method makes the concepts simple and memorable.
