Why take this course?

This course introduces developers to one of the latest Kendo UI Web widgets: the scheduler. Now, developers can build better web sites powered by the ability to create events (tasks/appointments) through a simple web widget. The ability to preview tasks in day, week, month, and calendar view is supported.

The author will follow a hands-on approach where all the features and options are shown through examples. The only tools needed are Notepad++ and a web browser (such as Google Chrome).

The course will start by introducing the scheduler and comparing the functionality to a similar scheduler (like Office Outlook). Then the scheduler features and options are discussed step-by-step using carefully selected examples.

By the time the user is done with this course, he/she will be well equipped to power his/her site with the new scheduler functionality.

Please note that since the scheduler is currently in beta release, some of the functionality might change, but the core concepts will remain the same.

Good explanation of some of the options in Kendo scheduler, however I would like to see a more modern version, and how to use remote datasources as well as MVC and .Net Core. Maybe that's in some other courses.

I was looking for a detailed tutorial on kendo ui scheduler for Angular 7, unfortunately there are no videos tutorials, the documentation on the kendo website is quite generic and does not go in depth. This tutorial is too old and does not go in depth. I wanted to learn how to manipulate events, get all the set of events in a scheduler, how to store them in the DB, what standard is used to create event data (icalendar data or other), how to create events that are bounded to recurrences.

Très bonne entrée en matière sur le Scheduler. Super cours, si vous n'avez pas de problème d'anglais :) Mais ça va, même en ne regardant que la vidéo sans l'audio, on comprend quand même; même si les paroles aident à mieux comprendre. Sinon, juste un mot à dire TOP.

Great overview of the scheduler widget and code appears to work great with the release version. Could be improved by adding a section on loading / updating events via webapi etc. Also the scheduler widget is no longer free. http://www.telerik.com/kendo-ui/comparison

I do not hear well, yet it is easy to follow this course. The instructor speaks clearly, and slowly enough to follow easily. He is a very capable teacher, and provides easy step by step instruction.

I had never even heard of Kendo UI Scheduler, and I stumbled across this course while looking for other web development courses. I was pleasantly surprised - I'm sure there is much more to learn, but this brief course is a great start to understanding the Scheduler interface and how to work within it. Definitely recommend if you are looking for this type of functionality for a project!

A well presented course that explains the Kendo Scheduler for Web extremely we. However I would really like on for the razor view as I have searched high and low without being able to find help that tells me how to load data into the scheduler.
