Dear Future Student,

I realize you have a few dozen courses to choose from.

Thanks for considering this one!

Why should you enroll in my course, and why should you NOT wait?

What is in this course:

This course is a product of my ongoing, unique research on learning from video courses.

You'll learn:

  • What makes learning from video courses harder than you think?

  • How to fix it?

  • How to avoid watching video courses like a movie?

  • How to increase the retention of knowledge

  • How to be more FOCUSED when you are learning online.

Online Learning is a unique and continuously evolving field that requires frequent updates to keep up with the trends. I will keep adding videos as I unearth new ideas and get the data needed to back them.

Learning from Online Courses is harder than you think.

I am not saying this because I found it difficult for myself, or I saw my friends struggle. I have researched thousands of online learners' video-watching behavior across a breadth of online courses before arriving at this conclusion.

Let's face it. We all sign up for courses even when we know there are courses that we are sitting on without completing, only reassuring ourselves that someday we will complete them.

If a mere completion of an online course can be difficult, how hard would it be to learn from it? And what about retaining that Learning and applying it to our lives?

This course explores the fundamental problems with learning online, primarily from video courses. You will see and relate to the issues we face as we try to complete online courses. Instead of just knowing the problems, we will discuss the solutions for them as well.

At the end of this course, you will be able to pick the right courses for yourself; you will also be able to see that you are completing them faster than ever; importantly, learn from them and retain that Learning for the rest of your life.

Using checklists and guidelines included in the course, you will develop your learning process. This course will surely make you a smarter learner when it comes to learning from online video courses!

Join me on a journey towards lifelong learning.

So far this course is awesome. I recommend ppl to take this course. I use to enroll to whichever courses I like but use to watch like a movie as Katya says in this. Think I can able to improve myself if I start following these techniques. Thanks Katya. Now I am keen to look for your other courses.

YES, VERY INTERESTING WITH A UNIQUE TITLE AND APPROACH WHICH IS QUINTESSENTIAL AS WE HAVE ENTERED IN TO AN ERA OF LEARNING THROUGH VIDEOS, THOUGH I PERSONALLY FEEL READING THROUGH PHYSICAL BOOKS DO RETAIN IN MY BRAIN FOR LONGER PERIOD.

The first 15min are a bit basic, but after that, there are some very good points that you can then use.

So, after taking the Course " Learning How to learn From Video Courses" I have been challenged: I found out that the methods I'm used to are mostly wrong! Anyways, they worked just fine to a late owl guy, but then, looking back, it appears that I could have been at a far better learning phase had I adopted the techniques in these lectures. Clearly, scarcity works to our advantage, because we tend to apply more focus in class as it is clear we may never have that moment as is with learning from videos which we think, in a vain illusion that we may always go back whenever we stack. Katya, thank you for the lessons in this course, at least some folk can apply a well-structured learning culture.

The content was ok, however, Section 8 from module 41 on none of videos worked. This module is the most indebt of them all. I requested a refund but was denied as I viewed too much of the content.

This course is very useful for me and I think I have enrolled the right course. This course shows me how to manage learning through video much better and also providing very good tips for creating good habits and how to Taking Notes.

I did learn some good techniques throughout the course, but ending it off on the "tapping technique" undermines the legitimacy of the preceding content. It just looks insane like a cult initiation, incredibly uncomfortable to witness, purposefully hurting yourself with a big smile? Bad bad vibes do not teach this to children

well it is random and not structured, speaker/mentor speaking about something which taught in the this course but it has to appear in the course which does not make any sense. but lets see what happens next, I am giving it a try a little more.

The fact that each video was recorded in a different place, spot, has different sound is very disturbing. Also the content is not somehow revolutionary. Let's see how it goes later

I'm currently interested in the content, and think it is a good topic to have a course on. I do find the presentation a little strange and would like to hear the thinking behind it - particularly: - Why Katya starts with examples/stories before delivering the main point in each of the Section 3 videos, as opposed to giving the main point and then supporting it with examples. - Why the main points in Section 3 are split up across multiple videos, each with titles that imply the content will be different. When I started section 3.15, I thought that the content would be different from 3.14, but as I watched, I saw that it was very similar. It confused me initially and made note taking more difficult. - Why "outtakes"/outtake material was left in the final content. Examples from section 3 include - asking the cameraman why he was putting his hand above his head. - pointing out the fly in the room. Once again though, I am interested in the course content and think it is good to view.

Way above expectations! Have been on this site, for years, and have been struggling to make it sit. Feel like there is a lot of value in this course.

Useful and essential things to know. Although some of the information isn't very unique to this course, and the editing could certainly be far better and more engaging, it still is a great guide on what to be mindful of for learning in a stay at home environment. I'm not sure if it's worth what it costs, though.

This is the first online course that I was focused to watch and learn from the lessons. I learned a lot and would recommend this course to those who like to learn online but having a hard time to focus and watching videos mindlessly or like Netflix.

I've heard the story before about the importance of making your bed each day. I do make my bed each day and even on those days when I do not feel like doing so, what I find is, at some point, I look back and the bed is automatically made. I now unconsciously make my bed each day, without any effort.

Based on what I completed so far, the course provided me with a perspective about buying Video Courses which I did not even consider before
