Poor course. Seems like improvised lectures, there are a lot of lines commented when explaining other functions, you have to wait until he types and watch him make mistakes typing. He is not cleaning his code and uses random content for arrays, not real or practical examples. There are only explanations and not excercises to practice.

this guy knows what he is talking about and goes at a slow and good pace for understanding javascript, he doesn't skip parts and explains what each function or piece of javascript syntax does which really helps with notes top lecturer

Need to update your content for the new Modern JavaScript ES6. For example on your section on Variables you need to now discuss the new variable types available and the reasons to use them like: let, const

A good grounding in Javascript with practical examples and a little bit of AJAX, JSON and php thrown in.

Generally, this course covers some most import concepts in javascript. If you already have some experience in programming, it should rapidly improve your understanding in js (saves my time!). But if you have almost no knowledge in programming, you can also follow up this course easily, with some further reading or researching on your own. Anyway, it's an awesome course! The learning route is brief and to the point.

I am using this course to reacquaint myself with the basics I already know about JavaScript, and to gain more facility in preparation for an in-depth course. I look forward to seeing how the rest of the course develops. It has thus far been quite clear and easy to follow. One thing that would improve the course overall is to smooth out transitions in lecture recordings, where sound abruptly comes in, sometimes in the middle of a word. Another more important way would be to smoothly transition learning content from one lesson to another. Rather than working on the same files over and over again, it would help if there were specific instructions to create new files to explore new functionalities.

I liked this course. It is a gentle introduction to JavaScript, but with real-world examples that were useful
