Very descriptive for absolute beginners! A lot of additional details, as unicode - history, how it works and how to use as part of "Primitive Types - char". Highly recommend when this course is finished.

Appropriate as a starter course. It is not extensive and doesn't provide a comprehensive study of the Java language. The instruction was great though

Not really much is given and explained. I believe this would be a decent course for beginners to start, but there are also other superior courses that teach you from scratch. The course states that it's a "beginner to guru", though we are left at a beginner level in the end. Even the input is not explained, let alone variable casting etc.

so far i am enjoying it.... the only issue is that i am now using a more recent intellij and as expected some things are not found exactly in the same place as explained. obviously this is not the fault of the instructor at all; it just takes some more time to figure out where the same function is located. Thank you.

Very detailed with setting up Java onto a system. Not much is available with the actual programming. Hopefully, the course will be added to in the future; but, it is unlikely since it was started in 2020 and the instructor has not updated in quite some time. Too bad, for he did a good job with what is there.

Instructor understands the subject very well and does a GREAT job explaining everything in the right order. Did not realize it was only the tip of the tip of basics and was really hoping to get deep into the language to complete full projects and feel I could code ideas on my own after completing.
