What you will learn

Build apps and publish them to the market.

Why take this course?

In this course we will take a look at the two most popular mobile games and re create them using Unity and C#.

The games we will be recreating:

  • Cut The Rope ( This is our introductory game, we will recreate it mostly by using the built in Unity components, so that you get a bit more comfortable with the engine.)
  • Flappy Bird ( We will learn how Rigid bodies behave and how to create the illusion of an endless runner. )
  • Color Switch ( We apply all that we have learned so far to create our final game, and get it published to both iOS and Android.)

We will then deploy these games to our Android device, as well as our iOS device using xCode

You will learn why xCode is very important when it comes to developing for the App Store.

Learn how to earn money with free games using Advertisements ( Video Ads ).

Finally we will show you how to publish these games to the App Store and/or Play Store.

Its have good video on what to do. The first few video you couldn't see his mouse and that really made it hard to follow.

the course was good but at last, the implementation is not satisfactory.......Because in flappy bird game pipes are overlapping, and in color switch color-changer and obstacle is overlapping.

This is a good quick start to making games in Unity. I'm almost finished with the Color Switch clone section, and everything is up to date and works well. There aren't a lot of explanations for why particular things are being done, either from a programming or a Unity engine perspective. So if you're an absolute beginner, this will be a good intro to get you started, but not the best way to learn about the Unity engine, and how it relates to making your own games.

I think it's not enough clear about session control. Because, I try it, It's not happening like the video.

The course is really informative and really helpful, not only on the scripting part of Unity but also on the UI part

For now the tutorial is going fine but i really do not understand why is there no mouse on your screen? For users who are not familiar wit Unity GUI, well we do not know where and what you click... Hope you`ll fix that in other tutorials...

Overall I liked the course but I didn't loved the flappy bird section. I think it could be more polished.

Instructor goes too fast, and does not explain why he is doing things. Also, there is no mouse capture, so students can't see where the instructor is pointing/clicking.

I think that is a very good "real project" tutorial to learn Unity. Furthermore, the explanations are very good =)

The course was definitely a good buy. It provides a very good and strong starting point for mobile 2D game development. The lectures were easy to follow and the work felt meaningful, Overall I'm happy with it !

Would be great if the mouse was visible. I'm 4 videos in and already struggling to see what you're clicking on or dragging something to, often I need to rewind a few times to find out exactly.
