Its pretty straight forward approach, not using any jargon, just trying to prepare the base of hat we are going to learn in coming chapters. At this points (halfway through the course) the training is enjoyable. I never thought this would be so fun to learn online from you. Thank you so much for such a nice online training set up . Great, things are going smooth as expected. Again let me tell you udemy is just Awsome. I completed the two exercises mentioned in the course.

Nothing special about this course that you cannot learn by exploring links, ribbons, and the like in a SharePoint site. The author does give a nice overview of the basics, but at times he says more than necessary in order to make a point. All in all, it is an average experience that is suited for someone who has never used SharePoint or who is completely unfamiliar with the MS Windows/Office environment.

This course is OK, but seems like it is a class room course just recorded for online. There hasn't been much adaption to account for the medium. You spend a lot of time looking at the same screen and just listening to the trainer. We really need more visual stimulation to stop us form zoning out. I think the pace can be a bit faster online because if we miss anything we can always just flip back. I didn't quite finish the course and instead chose to seek out something more faster pace where I can learn much more in a shorter space of time.

Great introductory course on SharePoint. Gets you started with basic things. You could include lessons on customizing the home page (e.g. no. of columns, customizing some of the web parts etc.).

The teacher, Toby, gives a thorough explanation of SharePoint in a clear and interesting way. He provides links with info, especially the "Case Studies" are very useful. All with all, this course is a recommendation for people who have to work with SharePoint quickly.
