Description

#1 Best Selling Business Law Course on Udemy!

** Chris is the author of the #1 best selling business course on Udemy called "An Entire MBA in 1 Course." **

** ACCORDING TO BUSINESS INSIDER: "Haroun is one of the highest rated professors on Udemy, so you can expect to be in good hands through the course of your education." **

What kind of legal company registration should I set up so that I protect my family and assets if my company gets sued? How do I protect my brand and products and make sure that nobody can copy them? What red flags and issues should I watch out for so that my investors can't take a larger percent of my company if my company has issues? This course will answer all of the aforementioned questions and many more. We will go through the life cycle of a company from founding to a stock market listing (initial public offering) to restructuring and or declaring bankruptcy if needed (there are significant benefits to doing this in many situations).

The course is taught by an award winning business school professor who has started several companies and sits on many boards. He has dealt with many legal issues over the years and he will share a lot of his legal knowledge with you to ensure that you and your family have protection; please also hire a lawyer when starting a company and when dealing with contracts (don't ever do it yourself). Professor Chris Haroun is currently a venture capitalist in the San Francisco Bay Area during the day and a professor at several Bay Area graduate business schools during the evenings.

High water wave, very little information in videos. Basically a collection of advertisements. 'Don't be cheap.' Since this educational venue is audio/visual, I expect the instruction to be in this format.

Not what I expected. I think the title of this course should be Legal and Financial Aspects of Equity Funding. The course has little to do with business law. Also, thank goodness for the transcript-- sound is poor and speaker trails off at the end of sentences/thoughts/paragraphs.

Not exactly what I expected, but I learnt what the course is all about. My only issue is not grasping the calculations because I'm not good with maths. But it's good experience and information.

Honestly, the teacher is only scratching on the surface on how to conduct an IPO, and what red flags to watch out for (how an investor may be diluted in its investments during vc capital rounds). Disappointed with the content, and its lack of depth. Nothing really useful. Especially when the teacher himself is recommending to hiring a lawyer, and the last videos were more like a motivational speech; "believe in yourself," "do what you want to do," and "invest in your formal education," etc. Don't waste your TIME and MONEY on this course. You are better off actually buying a business law book OR reading online on forums about the topics you are interested about.

In my opinion, this course is a great beginning of Business Law for entrepreneurs. However, there could be more information or material and more video content. Thanks.

It's literally just lectures and a book. If you're looking to quickly have the briefest of overviews this is the way to go, but as there are no activities, worksheets, quizzes, or any way to measure progress retention of the material is made more challenging.

Great course, but I felt like I may have missed some parts, or they were not added. You mentioned going into detail about some topics later on but either never did or I may have missed them. Either way, the course we very informative and gave me a good general understanding of the legal process at each stage of a company!

The speed of the presentation material was swift, but not too fast. Very personal and educating at the same time.

The content and presentation was great. I reduced my overall rating from a 5 to a 4.5 because of the pie joke. Just kidding, I actually liked that one, dad jokes are hilarious for all the wrong reasons. In all reality, the course covered the topics thoroughly and connected the dots in a concise manner. The only knock I have is that the audio was a bit weak. If you can crank the volume a bit, this would definitely be a 5 star course. Thanks!
