I could not stop the racing thoughts and cravings at all. Over time, I studied and practised, and worked at a buddhist centre and retreat centre for fifteen years, whereI learned how to still the mind and relate to thoughts differently. These skills and tools have saved me from relapse and saved my life, improved my self-esteem, and removed cravings, anxiety, and self-obsession completely. Transforming the mind has transformed my life, as we experience everything through the mind. If I can do it so can you, even if you believe that you can’t meditate because your mind is special and different!
