This is a good course however I wish he could have went more in dept about certain things like program names. I had pull google up and do some research on my own to get an understanding of what some of the abbreviations meant.

The course had many details about current software. Thorough explanations were provided, along with the theory of source management.

It would be nice to have had the instructor at the bottom or top of the screen i could see him as he is teaching, adds a better dynamic

Comprehensive crash course into TFS. VERY well organized with an experienced instructor with excellent presentation skills. Everything that can be demonstrated in the tool is demonstrated with at least one example. Goes over some sections (build, release, web testing) just enough without drilling down TOO deeply (not needed for an intro course; this is good). A very good choice if you know nothing about TFS and want to get a great overview, explanations. Highly recommended.

Introducing Process Templates section was way over my head is maybe out of scope for this intro course. I paid attention but finished that section not having really absorbed any useful information. I had trouble following what the presenter was talking about for those several minutes that he was scrolling through the XML for the Product Backlog Item. I also did not understand what a work item is, whether it is mandatory or optional, and where to get started with it. There were lots of endefined terms, e.g. "backlog", "field", "state", "transition", which made me need to pause the video frequently and go search up these terms online, resulting in long tangents. I think this chapter is only for experienced CI/DC developers who are experienced with Agile/Scrum and not well-suited for beginners. Perhaps the chapter Introducing Agile Planning Tools should be a seperate course because only a small number of people watching this VTS course need this information, and there isn't enough time here to even introduce all of these dev methods. I feel like I haven't gotten my money's worth because of this.

The course is for TFS. I completed the course and am not clear of the difference between Visual Studio and TFS. Where does one end and the other start? Do you have to use Visual Studio to use TFS? I do not know. I like to follow along with the examples. This was impossible. The first example started with a Visual Studio window that was filled with existing data and links that were not in my test environment -- so duplicating/following the material in the course was impossible. The latter sections of the course on testing, builds, releases were survey presentations. There was no detail for the student to follow or duplicate on a test system. The instructor always said something like "...you can do this or that..." but never actually carried any example through to completion. Apparently the course is trying to cover too much material, the course is course time should be extended, or the goal of the course was not to go into detailed exercises that could be followed by the student.

Yes, so far this course has been good and a good match for me. I am following along well and look forward to progressing to a deeper understanding.

El gran problema para mi es el idioma, al no contar con subtitulos oficiales de quien presenta el contenido, tengo que utilizar los subtitulos de la aplicacion que presenta el video el cual no es de alta precision y confunde,

Explanations are harder to follow with alternative setups (e.g. not using GIT), and no time is spent going over instructions with other setups.

Как общее представление о TFS курс довольно неплохой. Для более полного понимания хотелось бы видеть некоторый пример создания небольшого демонстрационного проекта с демонстрацией некоторых ролей и сценариев, имеющих место при коллективной разработке.

Good for absolute beginners so far. I guess it's better to start from the beginning then ramp it up, that way everyone feels at comfortable.

Resources should be available in this course. like the list of links or screenshots that he used in his class. Resources would be useful in long run.

Excellent introduction to Team Foundation Server. Instructor showed expertise and was very clear in the course delivery. A little more detail may be of good help.

As an introduction, this was good. It gave a very basic understanding of what is available in TFS. It is not a deep dive. It does not allow me to be an expert as stated in the course description. I appreciate this course for what it did - give me an overview.
