So far I haven't been briefed much on the topic of the potential of the InDesign program itself. His "outlook" of the workspace was initially quite different from mine, so I couldn't grasp everything he said, since I saw no toolbars on the top side. Had to google it outside of the course itself. There are so many options and everything in the program such as InDesign, it should be discussed prior to beginning of the "work" itself. I'm guessing a student shouldn't be outsourcing things unknown outside the course itself (but then again, I'm new to such online courses) "To set the looks of the program equally between the instructor and the student."

I was looking for a beginner course on InDesign that was not too long and that could get me to grips with some of InDesign's basic features. It gave a brief overview in the time alloted and I now feel more confident with the basics of InDesign. I wouldn't say this is an advanced course but that was not it's intention anyway. If you are a total newbie to InDesign I would recommend this. If you want to advance further you may need to do further research. Thank you for helping me!

Covered a good number of things I didn't already know, but didn't address working on digital books (epub, mobi, etc). Didn't talk about RGB.

Short but concise videos filled with useful important information. Anything you need to know about inDesign is covered in this course. Very well organised and put together and the teacher responds to queries incredibly quickly which is great when you are stuck
