Overall, I am making decent progressing skills considering I am only at the half-road and I can reach out to instructor quite fast when I need to. Wonderful for beginners (to any math related topics and matlab) and anyone who wants to start image process. Will refresh the grading of the course again once I finish it.

Done a lot of programming in Matlab but hardly any on GUI's. As this course starts from scratch on GUI building it lays the required foundation for future, more complicated, GUI endeavors. It is simple yet essential to understand the relations between the build-in figure entities, use understandable and clean programming. This course does a very good job in achieving this goal. Even the "fun" part of it!!!

So far, I can say that Mike knows his stuff really well. I actually did a bit of digging into his background and read a few of his academic papers in neuroscience, and I am impressed. However, there 2 things that should be addressed: (i) MATLAB is very costly for a person without institutional access, so I think other low-cost means of having a MATLAB license that can used for publications (baring the hobbyist license) should be shared in all MATLAB courses. (ii) The OCTAVE versions of these MATLAB codes should equally be thought.
