This Course is too basic and instructor's content delivery is not good I didn't find this course useful for me but if you are a beginner this course can helpful for you for clear your basic on HTML and i must recommend to check W3School because they have advance and free course online on their website with clear explations

I'm confused. Lecturer did not explain why all these tags when I can just use <body> and <br /> only. I mean the latter 2 tags does the job. Something is missing here that needs clarification. In real life situation, do I have to complicate the code like this or play it simple with just <body> and <br /> ?

I'm half way through this course now, and finding it very useful as a starting point for someone not accustomed to any web development/HTML knowledge at all. The lectures are a great length to pick up when you have a spare 10/15 minutes - and though basic, are very informative. The pace is slow enough to help remember the new content and reinforces content learnt from previous lectures. This series focuses on the HTML part of web development (the structure of a website), and only briefly touches on CSS (the style). The lecturer will be introducing another crash-course for that in the future and once that is done I'd expect the courses as a pair to help you go from 0 to a nice looking website!
