Why I gave it 1 star is simple. I am completely lost. Looking for another course. The creator should look into his first sections perhaps update it a little. It really is difficult to follow

This course provides a well-structured and effective approach to teaching HTML and CSS. The instructional style is dynamic and speedy, yet not superficial, ensuring a comprehensive coverage of all relevant aspects. While the course is commendable, I find that in some specific aspects, a more detailed explanation could enhance the learning experience. Nevertheless, I genuinely appreciate the overall quality and content of the course.

As a beginner in HTML and CSS, this course did a good job explaining and giving examples of things in a clear and concise teaching manner. I'm glad I knew a bit of Javascript so that I could understand generally what was going on when javascript was used, otherwise I might have been a little lost in those circumstances.

This course has wealth of practical information that myself and many takers of the course will undoubtly come back to for years to come. With that said this course falls short in a few areas. The first was an assignment that requested a solution that was never shown to the student up to that point, yet they are expect to know it. Second and this is prevalent throughout the course, is many of the Section Recaps and a few Introductions mention things that are not actually covered in that section whatsoever. This becomes a bit hilarious when one Section Recap is not even for that section but was for a section that was about 3 or sections before. Another issue was the use of Javascript. For a web developer HTML, CSS and Javascript are a stable but one can get by without Javascript to an extend. However as one advances in this field Javascript knowledge, even a little will come in handy. This course shows Javascript but never even briefly attempts to explain it to the students, this is an oversight that does the students a disservice in my opinion.

Looks like this is an old course! If you want to have a good ratings, you have to update your courses from time to time at least! Subtitles are awful, automatically generated and inadequate! Author of the course should've look at them to know what quality of product he's selling. Shame on you.

Gives you the majority of the HTML and CSS material, and while it may not cover everything, it gives you the mindset needed in order for you to be able to understand what wasn't.

I have purchased a few courses from Tim Buchalka's Learn Programming Academy and have learned a lot. This course, however, has been disappointing. There is a lot of content, but not a lot of detail. It is VERY high level. I have not completed it and will not be doing so.

A pretty straight forward approach. Not too much in depth with some things but its exactly what I wanted to see. A great intro into HTML and CSS. I don't think there is anything that was missed. The only thing I miss is the coding exercises we had at the beginning. Other than that I like how it is presented. It all makes sense and if I have to, I will replay the section I need to and mess around with it so I understand. Great course, and thank you.

The teacher runs through the content waaaay to quickly. I mostly had to pause a lot and do some googling, especially when he forgets to explain some minor things introduced. Still, I did learn HTM/CSS so it's not all bad I guess.
