Very interesting and useful starter course for those interested in writing children's books. I learned a few things I can apply as a new author of children's stories during the course, so I would recommend it to those who are slightly on the fence.

The information provided was short, concise and helpful. I was not a fan of the interview style at the end of the course. The information the author provided was valuable but her presentation style was not as polished as the course creator.

I find the app easier to use on my phone rather than my tablet. I like being able to replay any portion of any lesson as many times as I need. The instructor is easy to understand and to follow along with. He gives solid reasoning behind his his instruction along with examples that work for him and may work for anyone.

Good basic overview. I was looking for more of a step-by-step how-to course since I have a background in writing full-length fiction. However, this course offered a good reminder about some of the details about children's books I think I knew once but had forgotten (specifically the 1,000-word limit for picture books and the 32- page requirement with 14 pages of text). Would particularly recommend for anyone who wants to write a children's book but doesn't know anything about the process.

This is an amazing course. I recommend it as an overview to writing children's books. In taking this course, I am able to choose the type of children's book I want to concentrate upon. Rob's presentation is short and to the point. Take notes and review the sections most relevant to you. Robyn's sections are greatly helpful and serve as the icing on the information cake. I enthusiastically recommend this course for anybody who has an interest in writing children's books !

Nice course with some good ideas to remember and apply. I lacked the examples however - it would have been nice to see a few good examples which represent best the different categories. The video with Robyn is cringy at some places but still, I appreciated the ideas shared.
