How to Teach Online with Zoom | Online Teaching Course

I think this course is exactly what I am looking for. I really want to feel confident teaching English and Maths on zoom whiteboard online and hopefully this course will help me achieve this. It has been interesting to find out all the different ways I can engage my students.

I was hoping for more information on using zoom itself. The material and screens were presented so fast it was impossible to keep up. For example in the lesson 8, zoom settings, you go over the app settings but then say, "lets go to the website" Then you click on something, who knows what and I am left in the dirt. You never explain why there are app settings and web settings and how all that works together. I still can't figure out how to get to the proper area of the website for settings. Your recommendation for audio settings are very sketchy and what you do say is not in accordance with existing expert audio advice. The rest of the course on teaching on zoom is pretty good.

It was a wonderful course. I would only have liked to know which program he used to make up his number games. I do not believe that it was part of ZOOM.

it is very basic but very solid -- i can see the man's deep concern for clarity but i find his slow paced delivery trying. but thats me!

Hi Eric. I'm a fellow online teacher and I have been watching your YouTube channel for some time. I am really inspired by your confidence in handling such big group classes and your skills in using the software. You make it look so easy. I taught in a classroom for 10 years before starting to teach online and it is nearly impossible to compare. Thank you for sharing so much useful information about Zoom, your teaching structure, ideas for games and just for inspiring me with your natural teaching energy. I feel empowered and inspired.

Very informative. I liked Eric's approach - engaging and left me with the thought that he really wanted me to get the best out of my teaching - for the students, and myself!

It's too long and could've been shorter and to the point, some videos are outdated and the videos need to be reorganized, and the prerecorded videos of some content such as the share screen are very annoying

Yes all cofusion about zoom was cleared and Eric OscarWesch is out and out agreat teacher.His suggestions with proper explainations has made the course very interesting and fruitful

Yes, I am really glad hat I decided to do this course. As I am not very confident using using new technology. However, now my knowledge and understanding about zoom as grown dramatically.

I felt that the trainer is focused on how to plan and teach a lesson. As I'm already a teacher, this is irrelevant. I#m more interested in the use of the Zoom technology and not lesson planning; objective and production. NB: Tutor should be mindful of making Africa a country. I lie in Germany and which of course is in Europe.

I needed to learn how to setup zoom for my art and craft classes and YouTube shows He is a very articulate guy. Very good Instructor. I chose the wrong class. I was not satisfied I am requesting a refund /credit so that I may take the class that will help me complete my goals.

I was hoping for a little more information - not spending much time on each area. It would be helpful if you cerated a link or attached info on where the "templates" for your games could be found.
