I don't do well with just spoken audio.... It would be much easier to follow this course, if there was actually a person speaking in front of a camera. This is why I don't do audio-books. The power-point images are not visually appealing, and don't hold interest for long. Also, the voice is a little unpleasant, and can't really hear well, even with the volume turned all the way up.

This is good to have as a reference. I know most of these things but need to be reminded of them. I am still too nice. I am kind but the too nice gets in the way of a lot of things. It's hard to unlearn, but courses like this help.

It's been a bittersweet experience taking this course, but I'm so grateful to have found it, quite by accident from Udemy's suggestions for me (how did they know?). I'm in my 40s, and it's pathetic that nobody could explain these concepts to me years ago (I was raised by a people-pleasing mother and learned from her). Even with decades of self-help books and counseling, I could never figure out why nobody respects me, why I've been a bully magnet, why most men and people I worked with in offices didn't take me seriously. Luckily, I won't have to be someone who goes their whole life and never figures it out. At first glance, I thought the price was a bit expensive for the run time of the course. However, after getting into the meat of it, I realize this information is much more valuable than what I paid. Especially when I consider how much money I've wasted on inept therapists and so-so books. This course is simple and direct. If the timing is right, you'll get it instantly and be able to start changing your life the same day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

This course is a great value! You can learn many life-changing concepts in a short amount of time. The course covers all the facets of people pleasing from the family history to how it translates into your day to day life. As a counsellor, I talk to many people who struggle with people-pleasing, this is a great tool to share with clients.
