This "course" is nothing more than a drawn-out PowerPoint presentation. It's a classic "Information Dump" - there is no context provided for information, there are no participation exercises nor any theoretical discussions. It comes across like a high school book report. Anyone with a brain can find all this information online by reading a few articles. This course offers no synthesis of the facts. I'll pass on any more content from this author.

Great information.. if I understood any of it I really don’t feel like this was for beginners. Didn’t break things down as much as I thought he would and used a lot of investment lingo without explaining what it means and why it is necessary to be done.

This is a PowerPoint presentation of bullet points with just a few graphics. Also, the course is quite short and you'll get it done in an evening. That being said, Travis Rose is pleasant and clear to listen to and his five years experience investing on the stock market shows. It's a good - but not so comprehensive - introduction and, generally, I recommend it if you're starting from scratch.

There was very good information about getting started and also I loved the "Stock Market Dictionary", there was a few thing I hoping to learn as well but it seem that it wasn't covered in this course.

course is a little outdated maybe, (Re: NASDAQ website is not like the examples), also TD Ameritrade Doesn't work in the UK (maybe because of Brexit), and Interactive Brokers has an issue with it, so you cant actually register (not Travis's fault) So could do with a revamp for me, but this is no slant as the info provided, which is good, and if it is updated, please sort the sound out, so annoying as it been recorded terribly More than anything, Travis answers any questions within a reasonable time frame, so that alone, for me, is money well spent!! The class is very easy to follow. The instructor is knowledgeable and has a soothing voice; easy to understand and follow. Thus far I am learning and enjoying this class very much. I paid a lot more for a class outside of UDEMY and did not pick up the trading concept as easily as with this course. I highly recommend it.

So far I enjoy the course and the instructor. Hopefully I will gain adequate knowledge to start investing. As the course continues, I am feeling much more aware of how much more I need to learn. Having finished the course, I am very excited about what I have learned and now have a much better idea about how to start investing.
