How to Draw Cute Cartoon Caricature

Covers most of the important principles despite it's short runtime. I would have liked to see how to draw more dynamic poses.

Exactly what I was looking for as an absolute beginner to create cartoon characters and color them to something presentable and even professional in first try! I feel so comfortable turning any picture to a cartoon character now!

This course teaches everything you need to draw basic posed standing characters, from photos. It reinforced simple elements that look good together for a cute style. By the end, you will be able to draw from photos (in any pose after some practice) in a cartoon style. I'm using these skills for game characters and cartoons.

the caricatures are not very cute as mentioned in the video. I was looking for actual cariacatures which did not effectively showcase in this course

Yes.. it can be better, like everything.. but first, let me tell you why you should buy this course: 1-) He draws step by step, showing to you how to see and add the needed details. 2-) It's a very fast course, and incredibily, he show how to paint and how to use the colors (that was amazing, seriously) 3-) He always say to you keep practicing and add extra materials in each class. 4-) If you love to draw, this will give you a new nice and fast techinic of doing cute drawings. The things i think should get better: 1-) Should add new poses. For example: I have only the face picture, but i would like to draw the person fighting boxing, you should show us how to do that, because a think it's difficult to do when you have the 3 heads perspective of size. 2-) You should put for us some variety of facial expressions! =] It'll be nice, in my point of view. Therefore, i would like to say thank you to Ecky O. It was a nice course and worth my money! =]

Ive learned to draw caricature that is easy to understand from this course. i hope teacher have more courses for me to take up.

I had a lot of fun with this course! I enrolled on a whim; because the art in the thumbnail was cute and I liked Mr. Ecky O's other course about chibi characters. These videos are sprinkled throughout with little valuable tips and bits of encouragement. Check it out, I doubt you'll be disappointed!

A really fun and interesting little course. I really liked it. A second example of a male and female model would have been appreciated, but still a good drawing course to draw cute characters.

I'm not an illustrator. Ecky O makes it easy for beginners. His clear explanation and easy approach makes drawing as easy as abc. You can pick up this skill in a jiffy. He should develop a sequel to this course - how to develop various facial expressions, profile face view, cartoon movements.

The instructor provided great information. Taught everything step by step. Provided practice sheets. And he was very direct and to the point. The class was quick! But there was a lot of information provided. The character look great, and I feel it was worth it. Thank you so much for providing your knowledge.

I love the easy instructions and the time to go over what I am drawing. The pacing makes it so easy to put in any added little touches to make it my style.
