Description

You're here because you want to design your own motion graphics that grow your brand, right?

It's great to have you here! I love using After Effects to design motion graphics.

Watch any professional commercial, YouTube channel, or television series, and one thing they all have in common is that they have a video intro!

These video intros (or video bumpers as many people call them in the video industry) are eye-catching, brand-strengthening, and audience-growing.

What makes me qualified to teach you?

Very bad subtitles (seriousness is strictly related to these details in my opinion), bad explanations (very few explanations on technical details, commands typed on the keyboard too quickly, impossibile to understand if you have not a good knowledge about AE)

i think the quality of this course is pretty professional and is definitely useful for those who have plans on taking their skills and business to the next level. Some of the tutorials don't allow for you to follow along step by step due to the material needed which takes away from the learning experience. The pace tends to speed up overlooking tiny, but important steps when following along.

Great content, well presented. Just an idea that might be helpful... you might consider occasionally adding text onscreen that emphasizes something that you are doing on screen. A good example would be keyboard shortcuts, where when you mention one (often in passing), you could have a little text blurb that describes it. Something akin to "Ctrl + C = Copy"

I already know the quality level of this instructor and I appreciate what he is doing in all of his courses. In other words, I am a returning student.

this course is great and i am sure it must have the practical element instead of just explainations... that would add much more. Thanks

This is a fairly long After Effects tutorial where the listener follows along with the guide (similar to YouTube tutorials), as opposed to a class atmosphere where a student completes creative projects analyzed later by a teacher. I recommend this tutorial for those who are still a little new to After Effects; not an advanced class. I was a little surprised that some mistakes and rendering times were not edited out, since the instructor also teaches video editing. Additionally, he kind of has a monodrone voice that often sounds like he is bored (not a good voice for narration under a video). I am, however, thankful and proud to have a piece to put in my portfolio that I would not have been able to create on my own.

With Clear Camera work, excellent audio and a well paced instruction. This course really does teach you some useful and inspiring effects using AE. For those of you without the latest After Effects, I was successful in reproducing most of the effects in version CS2. (With a little help from Google!) I would recommend this course to anyone looking to get into motion graphics, or indeed anyone looking to create a video intro.

Loved to look over samples of REAL intro, including mine, Dublin Academy! It think it was important to show real video intros to real people, other Udemy instructors, being made instead of the XYZ Company. Good thinking Phil!

As with his other video courses, Philip has tackled a topic that is very tough for most online folks who usually quickly look to outsource this type of work. He is a very easy to listen to instructor. After taking this class, you should be well on your way to doing a goo d part of your into work on your own. Jump in now!
