Listening to someone reading through content of the Microsoft website is not what I had imagined when signing up to this course. Also, this course is all centred around the Northwind database which, as far as I can tell, is no longer freely available. I've spent about 45 minutes watching these videos and all I've achieved is installing a couple of bits of software which I have not even had the chance to use yet, and finding out that the necessary resources to finish the course are not available.

I found it frustrating to have to find the files needed for the northwind database, since codeplex no longer exists. Couldn't the.bak file have been added as a course dowload? Other than that, it's good so far.

would be better if code was shared and not just appear suddenly on screen. Also on the database connection string, there can be fails depending on sign in so users should be specifically instructed to select windows auth or to supply password (less safe) Great course though.

This app cannot run without visual studio by the way.... There are loads of apps run without visual studio although they were created by visual studio.

Instructor spent too much time explaining little details. The instructor also made many mistakes throughout the course, and spent time correcting them. Although this is a very basic introduction to the program, it is not very comprehensive.

Good course for the beginner. The basics are included and well explained by the instructor and leave you curious enough to want to learn more about SQL Forms . The downside is that the links to the files / software downloads need to be updated.

Course was a little slow. I listened to the whole thing on 2x speed. Content was really helpful in describing the interface between the two software. I wish there was a little bit more meat to the course.

Good one, But not a detailed content.. May be instructor can leave a book or PDF to perform more stuff's such as editing , inserting values on the database from application itself..
