Minimize legal troubles from job interviews

Why take this course?

Interviewing Skills are essential for managers who must screen new job applicants on a regular basis. You can conduct job interviews with prospective employees confidently and professionally. Never be nervous or uncomfortable again when speaking to job applicants about why they might want to work for your organization.

Conducting a job interview can be every bit as stressful as being interviewed for a job. A manager conducting a job interview with a prospective employee needs to know how to communicate the needs of the position as well as the value of the company. The interviewing manager must know how to present the company and engage in meaningful conversation with the job applicant. A job interview can be unnatural and awkward for both the interviewer and the interviewee. This course will teach managers how to prepare for interviews, how to ask the right questions, how to avoid the wrong questions and how to learn valuable insights on applicants in order to lead to better hiring decisions.

Students of this Interviewing Skills course will learn how to be completely comfortable, confident and relaxed while conducting interviews.

Here is what Udemy students say about this course:

"I really enjoyed the course, TJ Walker is extremely experienced and it's easy to notice he is a great speaker and knows exactly what he is talking about. A great additional thing would be to see how he actually does an interview on someone (basically the task that he gave but done by himself) even a couple questions to also see his body language."  Agnieszka Adamek

''Thank you for this amazing experience. I have been able to apply these skills in daily life not only at work as I am a junior recruiter, but also with my personal interaction. Definitely 5 stars!!!'' Monique Le Keur

Great work TJ! Feedback 1. The TV’s in the background serve as too much of a distraction. A recommend a plain black background so the watcher can focus on you and what you’re saying. 2. Provide more info on how we can further work on our communication skills. What did you do to become so comfortable speaking?

It was to the point and well explained . My queries on cultural fit were answered satisfactorily. I loved all the bonus materials - especially the one on Public Speaking. The step-by-step instructions and the rehearsal with an audience for an honest feedback is such a good idea! However whether we will receive an honest feedback and whether the receiver will take it in the right spirit, is anybody's guess! TJ, your presentation was great, but I wish you would smile a little. It seemed you were a bit serious, at least to me. Thanks very much, though. I would recommend the course, as I think people who sit on an interview panel also need to know the "Do's and Don'ts". The most useful thing in this course were the examples provided on real life situations. I reckon that if you can give more examples like this, this course can get a SIX STARS evaluation.

I genereally liked the course, it gave really good tips and a plan for the interview that makes sure that all interviews are planned and going the same way and are comparable. the reason for one star missing is, that I would have wished for more questions that I could use in my interviews, so I have a bigger choice.

I think it even helps the applicant how the interview process is, what some specific interviewer's actions mean, and many many other perspectives.
