I'm encouraged to consider things that I would not have done was it not suggested. These things will impact how I design a tour and who it will attract.

I train tour guides in a historical home (volunteers) and got lots of great hints and inspiration that I will use for our tours. Thank you!

It is really giving me ideas as I begin to create the picture and story of the walking tour i am looking to establish in my hometown. The information given has become very valuable and has broaden my ideas.

The instructor talked to the audience in a friendly voice as if she were talking to tourists in a communicative manner. So, I felt a very comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere.

Pretty good. So far she's making me think about the job in a structured and orderly manner. Great ideas for monetizing the tour

Great course overall. Maybe a practical video tour guide of London would of really cemented the course.

It has provided me with many interesting thoughts in designing a tour. A lot of it is “common sense” but that can often be forgotten when starting something from scratch.

She was so enthusiastic about this topic that I believe whoever listens to her will want to become a Hometown Tour guide. Thank you!

Lita showed what is possible for someone with a little get up and go can do, to make a side hustle in an area that they enjoy using very little resources. Indeed perhaps even growing it into something bigger. Most of all, if this is something you enjoy then just go do it.

This was a fun course to take, and there was lots of practical, hands-on information for someone who wants to start a local tour.

Overall, this is a course that can be implemented right away. I feel confident that I can write a tour. The instructor is positive and easy to understand but there is a lack of outline or power points to make note taking and implementation easy. Therefore, rewinding segments or re-watching the course may be necessary.

The information is useful for anyone in tour guide , regardless of the experience level. One of the most valuable courses on Udemy for people in hospitality and travel industry that can help grow the business.

Very thorough. Gives more than adequate info on the process of "how to" from start to finish. She is an encourager and seems to have a lovely spirit. I would suggest going through this course just listening and viewing the first time. Then go through it again with pen and paper since she gives a ton of info and idea suggestions in such a casual way that makes you feel like you will remember everything. You won't! Haha. So, definitely take notes and go for it.
