What you will learn

How to smoke ribs as well as seasoning and different rib techniques

Description

In this course I'll be teaching you through five lectures how to cook st. Louis-style spare ribs.

I'll start out by talking about different cuts of ribs as well as seasoning ingredients and different techniques of cooking.

We'll be slow smoking these ribs at 235 for a total of four and a half hours.

2 hours unwrapped and then we'll wrap them for 2 hours and put them back on for half an hour. The last 15 minutes of the cook will be applying our barbecue sauce.

This is a very classic way of smoking your ribs. To ensure that they're cooked and fall-off-the-bone ready.

I'll be using a Weber Smokey Mountain 18in smoker. This particular style rib I paid $10 for at Walmart.

Thank you so much for checking out this course if you have any questions leave them in the Q&A and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Have a great time cooking!!!

I can tell that Chris has cooked a lot of ribs in his time. The dog barking and the camera person's laugh when the rib fell apart added to the ambience that this was done in a real world setting, not some TV kitchen sound stage where everything was set up to be "perfect". I appreciated his encouragement that anyone can do this, and I just might make me some ribs soon, as it is the one thing that I have not tried on the grill.

Not overly professional presentation. Dog barking in background. Sound quality in and out throughout video. Host was not introduced and changed shirt 4 times. Information was good, video was good as well. Food looked yummy but overall need some professional upgrades.

Filming not so professional but very good explanation & looking forward on applying what I learned this weekend; missing the certificate?

Hi, It is really time consuming. Was planning on teaching it to adults with Autism. But would not work because of length. I must add it looks yum-yum.

The course is interesting and gives useful tips and insights on how to prepare tasty ribs. However the quality of the video and sound could be improved.

The recipe was very good, but the record never stops moving, that looks unprofessional. But otherwise i like the explanation of the instructor.

Cleanliness is close to godliness. All his equipment was dirty and nasty. He never has cleaned any of all the equipment. I would not eat his ribs even if he paid me to eat them. His concept is good but no his method. He used a steak knife to clean the ribs and was unable to do so. Used a butter knife to take off the membrane and was unable to. As a cook I give him a rating of 3 out of 10.

it's a good course for beginners, very simple and straight up, although it's way to simple for advanced ones

The instructor is a nice friendly bloke and does his best to present the product. However, this is a single item to be prepared and cooked, and the presentation is too long, it could be done with the same amount of info in quarter of the time. In today's busy lifestyles, people do not have the time to sit through 4 modules just to learn how to cook ribs, I assume most will get bored and shift through to the important bits.
