Gut finde ich die kleine Einführung in die UI am Anfang. Obwohl ich schon einige Zeit mit Blender arbeite, waren doch ein paar Sachen dabei, die ich noch nicht kannte.

I really wanted to enjoy this course but, unfortunately, my experience has been less than stellar. The course content is delivered in a really dry and monotonous manner, which makes it challenging to stay engaged. It often feels like I'm listening to someone reading a technical textbook out loud: "Item X does this. Press M to select it. Press N to deselect this. Now, let's explore Item Y. Y does this. Press <control> + r to..." and so on and so forth. There's a noticeable absence of explanations or an examination of how each tool or item fits into the larger context. Some keyboard shortcuts don’t even work. This is not to say that there’s no relevant content in the course. There’s still a wealth of knowledge here, which is why I’ll stick with the course. However, my progress has been extremely slow so far, b/c, again, it’s very difficult to stay engaged for more than a few minutes at a time. To help students like me stay more engaged, I would suggest that the instructor adopt a more conversational teaching style.

Amazing course from the introduction to the basics of blender to creation and rendering of the model. The course covers several choices and options in approaching the modelling task. The course exceeded my expectations and will be a great source of information and techniques going forward.

Its too fast, for example didnt understand the challenge 1 and just gave up. The explanation for the challenge was not clear. Also the challenge tab continues to hang on in the Blender framework

Very nice course on blender and architectural design. I found the teacher very clear and his speed was good. I had some blender experience, so many things especially in the beginning were obvious to me, so did not need to spend too much time on first section. It covers the basics on blender quite quickly so for a complete beginner it might be good to spend time on those before moving forward.

Thorough and insightful! I like how the shortcuts are taught as well as where to navigate by clicking. He teaches at a good pace and its easy to go back and replay a part of the video to follow along.

Looking to become an environment artist. Thought Blender being free and ArchVis a great place to start that can offer a wide variety of possible work since it's environment, architecture, and visualization for many potential clients in different industries.

Some instructions are confusing, lots of repetition which would be good if learning a general skill but its very specific things like adding in a window or a door with very specific measurements that could never be applied for other projects. Overall easy to follow along with, have had to troubleshoot several topics which is tedious and takes a while. It feels like there are a lot of unnecessary details and not enough relevant ones...

I like that the lessons are straightforward and to the point. Later lessons move quicker since many of the commands and concepts are repetitive and I usually have to slow them down a bit. A few times I've had to pause the video to correct mistakes in my work. I think the fact that I can identify and correct the mistakes indicates I've made progress in learning Blender! Overall I think this has been a great course as a beginner to start learning Blender and getting familiar with a workflow. I'll be checking out more courses from Thomas after this one!
