I recently completed the HIPAA training, and I wanted to share my feedback to help enhance the program's effectiveness. Overall, I found the training to be informative and valuable in understanding HIPAA regulations and compliance. The training content was clear and relevant, covering essential aspects of privacy and security in healthcare

Good course. Very much geared for the medical field but could translate over to research or HR fields.

Course material is great and so is teacher but the transcripts need editing. The transcriptions reads "hip", "hippo" or "hip hop" in place of HIPAA when said in course.

What is only missing is the recent update to your course and the name and year change to 2022 will boost this case with last update on June, 2022 I will be waiting for that...

The recording was thorough and organized. I believe this was the best review of the complexities and rules regarding HIPAA. The only issue I came across in this lecture was that one of the quiz answers did not line up with the explanation of the correct answer. If possible, please fix the answer to the question asking "HIPAA violations can result in which of the following:". Thank you!

This course included great information! I left the Healthcare industry 6 years ago and was not aware of the amended rules as related to Covid.

Very disappointing that I spent over an hour on this course just to find out that the information was contradicting and the quiz's were as well. The last quiz, it clearly states that the correct answer is "HIPAA violations can result in civil monetary penalties and criminal" but it only shows correct if you select "civil monetary penalties. There were also contradictions on information given in regards to dates. Your spreadsheet obviously said 2009 but you kept stating 2019 - apologies, but I can't trust this information and I just wasted an hour + of studying something that should have been solid.

This is a lot of helpful background information on HIPAA that has not been in pervious HIPAA training that I had at my previous job.

I learned that the Privacy rule discussed in this session is the same as Philippine Data Privacy Law.

The material in and of itself was fine. However, the subtitles/transcript are an absolute mess. They need to be reviewed by a human. HIPAA was seen as HIP/HYP/HEPA/HIP HOP (just to name a few) and there were many other errors as well. Not everyone wants, or is able to, listen. So your text needs to be correct!

Helps understand the latest additions because this is one regulation that has been around since 1996 and we need to have frequent updates on the regulatory aspects to HIPAA. Q3 in the last lesson accepts the answer criminal liabilities in addition to monetary penalties but when clicked you say not right. In the initial introduction, there are portions of the learning that are truncated in the content display.

Some of the answer selections were wrong. The explanation stated the answer I chose but still marked it as invalid.
