great course, but it had some quite a bit of prerequisites to learn first before i was able to follow along. i basically had to learn linux os, install Linux os, linux file permissions: sudo chmod 777 to use kivy garden, working with virtual environment, creating apk using buildozer etc. but it was overall fun although quite a bit of detour. however, he is the only one that teaches this so its fine. at least i learned. and i like ubuntu now

I like the class but the instructor is very lazy at responding to questions. The whole point of buying udemy class is because I needed consultation when I am stuck but the instructor being not supportive ruins the point of making a purchase. Maybe I should have read reviews carefully before purchasing the class.

This course was what I needed to understand the basics of how Kivy applications work. I liked the fact that the author makes mistakes as well, and corrects them in the video, which makes it easier to get why some things work a certain way. Keep it up!

This course has the same problem as other courses with kivy. The Tutor will switch around numbers for most of the time just replacing a .2 with a .3 and getting different colors. The mechanics of the program are not really explained. Too much time is beeing wasted on adjusting spaces and while not explaining why you would use which Layout and why not all attributes like pos_hint are working everywhere. All of that which is essential I had to kinda just get or get by reading the documentation on kivy.

this course is great! shows a hands on approach of programming an entire kivy app from scratch. the author also has a wonderful youtube lesson series which i followed so i was happy to show my thanks and buy this course. Be noted that its for intermediate kivy platform users who are already familiar with the kivy language.

This course was great. Samuel is the best at explaining Kivy and he is literally always there to answer any question you have. i learned a lot a cross the whole course. all the topics where covered correctly and explained great as weel. 100% recomended!
