Description

Do you want to learn how to play the guitar from scratch? Or do you already have some experience and want to take your guitar skills to the next level?

Then this course is just right for you!

In this course, Philipp shows you everything about the instrument itself, strings, tuning, metronome, pyramid of rythm, fretting hand, strumming hand, all basic chords, barre chords, song work, picking technique, percussive playing and during the course you will learn 28 evergreen songs to practice with your newly learned skills.

But what exactly will you learn in this course?

  1. Introduction and Welcome: To start off this course, Philipp will give you a first and detailed look into your new best friend and the main focus of this course: Your guitar. You will learn how to hold your guitar correctly, what the six strings are called, how to tune your guitar correctly, how to use a metronome, how to use a drumbeat for better practice, why a rhythm pyramid is useful and of course everything about your strumming and picking hand.

  2. Basic Chords: Chords are the foundation for making music with the guitar. After completing the course you will be able to accompany all the songs of the world. You will learn the following chords: Em, G, Am, C, D, Dm, E, A, F, Bm, Bb, and F#m. After you have mastered these chords you will be able to practice them using the training beat from this chapter.

  3. First Song Examples: Being able to play the chords alone won't do you much good. Therefore, we have integrated very simple songs with simple chord progressions into the course. You will be able to play the following songs at the end of this chapter: Knocking On Heaven's Door, Runaway Train by Soul Asylum, What's Up by 4 Non Blondes

  4. 7th, Sus and Barre chords: When you have mastered the basics of the guitar, you will quickly reach the point where you can't go any further. The basic chords are important, but can also quickly become boring. That is why we created this section, where Philipp explains how you can add a little necessary spice into your guitar playing. You will know the following chords after completing this chapter: C7, D7, Dm7, E7, Em7, G7, A7, Am7, B7, Dsus2, Dsus4, Esus4, Asus2, Asus4, the E-Shape, the Em- Shape, the A-Shape and the Am-Shape.

  5. Picking Technique: Are you bored by ordinary strumming patterns and want to be able to play great melodies? In this chapter you will learn everything about the ideal picking style on the guitar. Philipp also dives into techniques such as pull offs and hammer ons. What are you waiting for? Have a look at the first videos.

  6. Song Work: Do you feel confident with your guitar? Then it's time to take the next step. You can either look for lead sheets on your own or you can try to write songs yourself. Philipp will give you all you need for doing song work and writing your first piece of music.

  7. Percussive Play: While watching the videos you will notice that Philipp has his own philosophy of playing the guitar. You will be able to see your guitar as a whole band of musicians. Dividing your strings into base drum and high notes can make a huge difference. That is why Philipp brought his prumming patterns to life.

  8. 28 Songs: Philipp and I believe that only applied knowledge can really be used in the long term. So we specifically picked out songs for every technique and every type of chord so that you can practice your newly learned skills the best way possible. You will be able to play the following songs after completing this course (with a lot of spice): Knocking On Heaven’s Door, Runaway Train, What’s up, Wonderwall, Hollywood Hills, Viva La Vida, Salt, Castle On The Hill, Back To Black, Let It Be, Perfect, When You Say Nothing At All, Californication, With Or Without You, Use Somebody, Bad Moon Rising, I Follow Rivers, Shape Of You, Save Tonight, Dance Monkey, Umbrella, Watermelon Sugar, Fix You, Torn, She’s The One, Mad World and Streets of London

  9. Q&A: Since Philipp is often asked the same questions, we have created a chapter to answer them in video form. So if you have a question and it doesn't appear in this chapter, we'll be happy to create a video to answer your question.

This course is for anyone who wants to be picked up where they are and then elevate a few levels higher.

So what are you waiting for? Enroll in this course today and start learning how to play the guitar!

We are looking forward to see you soon :)

Best regards,
Philipp & Marius

Absolutely love this course. Before I started , I had major trouble switching chords, now I am comfortable in switching chords in a song. Learned some interesting things about sus chords and how to use them. Good selection of songs to keep motivated. fingerstyle section was not complicated in how it was taught. THANK YOU

liking this course very much, the instructor has superior teaching skills and I love his teaching style not overwhelming or complicated and very easy to follow. His explanations on learning the guitar for me as a beginner fit my learning style like a hand fits a glove as I am beginning to learn at 65. Kudo's for this course, in my eyes, it is a great course and a fantastic journey in learning the guitar

As a failed beginner in the past, trying bits here and things there I am so pleased to have found this course. Having looked through I can see that there is structure and step by step learning. This is exactly what I need and I can’t wait to get started. I will post another review on completion of the course, but I know that I am going to enjoy.
