I just you should include more content to different approach but this course is what I expected and its great! You are amazing :)
Yes! I learnt a lot of graphic design skills. I feel a LOT more proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign now! However some feedback I have is that some topics can be a little dry? Maybe can spice them up with some.... jokes or something? I don't know. hahahaha. Another thing is that the last bonus section seems a bit random? as gradient meshes had already been covered earlier (in the 2019 design trends I believe). However it is fine to go through it again because this time it is in more detail! However, the flow of the course seemed a bit weird, because at the end of the "Design Niches" section it seemed like an outro to the course, but afterwards suddenly a new technical section appeared. felt a little random, and broke the overall flow of the course a little? Maybe shift the bonus section to somewhere in the middle. But other than these feedback, I think the course was amazing and awesome. Keep it up!! Thank you so much :)
A great start to understanding the fundamentals of color theory, fonts, and basic design principles. I'm completely new to all this and I appreciate the ground up approach in a simple to understand format.
I feel it was a good decision and I also got confirmation that learning depends as much on my hard work as on expertise of the instructor.
Love the layout and how the course is structured and for the price this is an excellent well thought out course. 10 out of 10 for your courses. I absolutely love your work Lindsey
I want to become a graphic designer and Udemy helps me a lot and yes I want to thanks to Lindsay Marsh ma'am who teach us so wonderfully and clearly..I love it her experience.Thank You
Easy to follow along, thus far and clear diction makes it very simple and effective even if I’m not paying total attention to my screen. She describes the characters and their assets so well in the Typography lesson that even when I wasn’t looking, I understood what an ascender and descender was.
So far it is above expectation! I encompass bits of all three "learner types" (visual, auditory and tactile) and taking notes along with the lesson engages me completely. I am super happy and excited with this course and the pace of the typography lesson.
So far this has been amazing! So inspirational. Love the way everything is explained and the fact that there are a lot of examples, resources etc. LOVE IT!
Loved the color theory and the cheat sheets. I'm truly enjoying this course. I would like practice on logo design with color and font picking :), all combined
I am impressed, I have learnt some new stuff i had 0 knowledge on in designs especially when it has to do with typography
Yes. I teach art (grades 7 & 8) and I like to experience different methods to introduce graphic design. Realistically planning for my students future requires using digital tools to learn general art info, techniques, and skill.
So far from what I have learnt is incredible, you have no ideal that you've made graphics easier for me. I'm looking forward to hear more......
I graduated with a graphic design degree 10 years ago, and I'm using this course to reacquaint myself with the basics. I'm liking it so far!
I've only gone through the third video (The Anatomy of Typography) so far, and it's really the first lesson. So far, it seems good, but I believe it is a little fast paced for a complete beginner.
