What you will learn

Learn everything you need to create a GraphQL API on the server in Node with Apollo Server.

Learn to use GraphQL on the client-side using React with Apollo Client.

Why take this course?

Learn everything you need to create a GraphQL API on the server in Node.js with Apollo Server. You'll start with a schema that includes type definitions, queries, and mutations. Then, build the resolvers needed to get the values for the API. Finally, move onto advanced features like interfaces and unions, all the way down to how relationships work in resolvers.

Learn to use GraphQL on the client-side using React with Apollo Client. In this course, you'll use queries and mutations to fetch and update GraphQL API data. You'll go further with variables, inputs, aliases on fields. Then attach your queries and mutations to React and interact with an Apollo Server using React hooks to build amazing things with React and GraphQL!

You clarified a LOT of things that will help me with building out an app using monday.com's API that is focused in on GraphQL. FANTASTIC!

Interesting tutor. Was pretty much direct with some topics and covered some if not all major parts of graphQL. Great job dude.

great presentation, it was very nice to listen to you have put a lot of emphasis on pros, not always mentioning the cons of the framework. would like a more in depth comparison with alternative communication methods could've been more concise

This is the best graphql course I have taken, straight to the point covering not just the basics but also advanced concepts that are used in production apps. And the best is that it is covered in only a couple of hours and it is free.

Good walkthrough and quite well made! However, would maybe focus on reducing the amount of "umms" for the next course as it made it somewhat hard to concentrate.

I think the author should be able to leave a link to the resources and starter files he had. The is no way to follow up and nothing indicates from the onset that we should have our starter files ready

Thanks for the good tutorial. Just one thing would be more helpful if there is bit detailed explanation on code walk through.

The course was really enjoyable and now I have more knowledge about GraphQL from the basic understanding of the theory and the practise both server side and client side . I have no doubt that I will see more of your courses. Really good course, Thanks!

This was very informative. The only thing missing was a list of his complete code at the end. It is always nice to go back through the code that was taught to better understand the concepts.

Firstly, Thank you, Daniel, for this course free. And talking about the content with the duration of the course is superb to understand GraphQL on both server-side and client-side. Thanks again.

Close to what I wanted to get a grasp of how GraphQL works with React. Plus one for using "@apollo/react-hooks". The only thing I missed in this course was that if you wanted to filter query through an input like per say filtering pets by owner, that would have been a great addition to get full grasp of how client side works. Apart from that, thanks for taking time to put up this course and make it freely available to the community. You're awesome.

Has a good heart, course not the greatest for a beginner, but a more advance student will be fine. He talks too fast, it's unplanned and you see it right away. Keeps referencing to himself as we. It doesn't hurt the course but a little off-putting.
