It was interesting and amazing how he managed to create musicality but he wasn't telling us exactly what he was searching for when altering the noises, it was just him playing around with the synth until he found something, the song was great but he spent 15 mins telling us about the enveloppe when it would have been more interesting to learn about the structure of the song, I would appreciate a course refund and I will buy the Europa shape one instead

Now that I have used Reason for some time my knowledge is better. There are a lot of information that needs to be dealt with before you benefit from something like this. But now when I know the basics this is just what I need. Now I feel that I am on a stage where I can learn from this. I started your Europa course a few months ago, and it was hard to get my head around but now it fits med perfect. And your Grain course is as good.

Too much time spent on details that are generic to any synth and not enough time spent on the specifics of Grain. 12 minutes to explain an amp envelope, yet covers all of the algorithms (which are central to this synth) in roughly the same amount of time is one example. More time could have been spent exploring the modulation matrix as well, as there was no explanation for 2/3's of the matrix at all (the dest2 and scale sections). I am glad I got the course for free, as I would feel ripped off if I had paid for this, as nothing in this course cannot be found on Propellerheads own Youtube channel.
