Caran d'Ache Pastel Pencils: 1. 802 French grey 10% 2. 901 Chinese white 3. 745 Warm earth 40% 4. 746 Warm earth 50% 5. 093 Violet grey 6. 808 French grey 7. 089 Dark carmine 8. 408 Dark sepia 9. 495 Slate grey 10. 506 Payne's grey 50% 11. 008 Greyish black 12. 036 Raw Sienna 13. 212 Chromium oxyde green 14. 232 Middle moss green 10% 15. 243 Light olive 20% 16. 017 Light reseda 17. 234 Middle moss green 30% 18. 719 Dark phthalocyanine green 19. 229 Dark green 20. 736 Brown olive 50%
Pastel Paper:
- Colin recommends using Sand Coloured PastelMat Paper for its excellent texture and results. If you are in the US, UART 800 grit paper is a great alternative.
Outline Drawing:
- You'll receive an outline drawing for each portrait, so you don't have to draw the subject freehand. Use a graphite transfer sheet like tracedown to transfer the image onto your paper.

- Colin provides step by step video instruction on how to draw each stage of the gosling, teaching you the techniques behind drawing beautiful animal pictures and helping you create a piece you can be proud of.
